Enjoy the sun-drenched day at Summerhill, offering uncomprimising privacy sandwiched between two of Grenada’s finest beaches. A private path leads our guests to Levera beach only 5 minutes away. Swim in the turquoise waters, snorkel the pristine reefs of Sandy Island, surf fish for the elusive bonefish and in season (March-August) watch the giant leatherback turtles as they migrate in large numbers back to Levera are only a few activities one may enjoy. Within easy walking distance is Bathway Beach, a calm and protected by coral reef swim area.

Tremendous views, food, hosts, place and privacy - paradise!


My family and I have recently returned from an unbelievable week at Summerhill. I don’t think words can describe the experience, but I will try. First, the location. It is on top of a hill in absolute seclusion. You will enjoy incredible peace and quiet at Summerhill. You have an amazing 270-degree view of the ocean and surrounding islands, and sunrises and sunsets. The grounds themselves are incredible. The main house and guest house are incredible. You can walk 5 or 10 minutes to two different wonderful beaches, both very quiet. Summerhill is on the Northern tip of Grenada, away from the “action” (of St. Georges and Grand Anse beach). But it is not a big island, so you can get to those places easily if you want. Next, your hosts. Yasmin does everything with joy and flair, and welcomes you as if you were family. Yasmin knows everything about the island and will give you great advice for whatever you might want to do (she gave us perfect advice many times, and she seems to have a feel for what you might like). Our “host” dogs, Macy and Mila, are warm and loving and fun! Our only regret is that Michael was back in Canada and we missed him. Oh and did I mention Yasmin cooks everything? And when I say “cooks”, I mean it. Every single breakfast and dinner was something to be savoured, a feast for the eyes and taste buds. The meals alone are worth the price of the stay. And you are eating those meals on the terrace, surrounded by those amazing views I mentioned before. It is truly a wonderful experience. The Grenadian people are warm and friendly, and will always help if needed. Grenada is the opposite of those Caribbean countries where you can be fearful for your safety. Do not worry about that at all. The island is the best.

Private, secluded piece of paradise


We had the distinction of being the longest staying clients at this beautiful villa. We stayed for three weeks! If you are looking for a quiet, off the beaten track, tropical destination with lovely accommodations then Summerhill is the perfect destination for you. Yasmine, the owner, is a gourmet cook and prepares amazing breakfasts and dinners each day according to your schedule and dietary requests. She is not only a great cook, but an amazing baker as well. My husband and I both agree that her meals rival some of the best restaurants that we have eaten in around the world. I have read the other reviews and there isn’t much more to add in terms of the scenery and location. Stunning. Imagine eating breakfast each morning to a view overlooking the ocean with fresh fruits grown right on the property. Yasmine also has two friendly German Shepherd dogs , Mila and Macy, that we grew to love. We had great fun playing with them around the pool each day. Yasmine will go out of her way to make your experience enjoyable. She was constantly providing small treats and introducing us to unique taste experiences. We do recommend having a car to go off for lunch and to explore the island.

Stunning Hilltop Accomodations overlooking the Atlantic with Gourmet Meals


Summerhill is a quiet getaway in the north of Grenada. It has well appointed guest rooms with sitting areas around the pool where one can relax and read a book while sipping one\'s favourite drink made by your host - Michael, while anticipating what your hostess - Yaz has created for dinner using local ingredients, many from their organic farm. The hosts are very knowledgeable on what there is to see and do in the area such as visiting the Chocolate Factory, Rum Distillery, Belmont Estate or Snorkeling Tours with a picnic lunch. If you prefer to stay close to Summerhill there is a beautiful empty sand beach just a short walk away. Thank you for making our first visit to Grenada special and memorable. We will be back.

Lovely accommodations, fabulous scenery, welcoming hosts


Our first trip to Grenada. We were last minute to join our friends at Summerhill. What a find! Grenadians are friendly, helpful people. We toured the Grenadian Chocolate Factory, Belmont Estate, rum distillery as well as many local towns and beaches. We stayed at Summerhill and loved it. Our bed and bath was everything we needed and a gorgeous view as well! Summerhill is a clean, well appointed and well maintained gem in the northern part of the island. We enjoyed many areas of this tropical property. Our hosts Yas and Michael were most welcoming and very knowledgeable about Grenada - very helpful in planning our outings. (Driving on the left was a challenge - mountainous terrain made for winding, narrow roads with little signage.) Yas is an excellent cook. Our meals were outstanding and featured fresh local ingredients and spices. Thank you for a wonderful vacation in Grenada!
