The space
This is conveniently located property with 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, sleeps 8 comfortably with 30,000 sq ft of land with lush gardens, bbq area, gorgeous ocean, city and mountain views, a professional gympool table and only 1.5 miles away from the beach with easy freeway access, supermarkets and restaurants only half a mile away.
 
On premises is a Professional style gym with 10 stations, full weights, aerobics, big screen TV and panoramic views.
 
Guest access
Our guests will have access to the entire property including the downstairs gym and enjoy the beautiful evenings overlooking the city lights and the ocean in a quiet and tranquil environment. You can catch the infamous Honolulu Fireworks every Friday night if you are staying over the weekend.
 
Interaction with guests
Owners live next door and are easy to reach in case of any assistance needed.
 
Other things to note
This property is located near beautiful hikes and it is available for larger events such as weeding, anniversaries, and large family gatherings.

Reading other reviews about this place ahead of time really helped set a better expectations than the description of the place that the host has written. Honestly, had we known all that we know now, we may not have ended up staying at the property. Don\'t get me wrong I think it would be a great property for certain types of guests. Thank you for having us Jose and being accommodating, we really enjoyed the property while we had it during our stay in Oahu. Here are some details: Pros: - gym, pool table, nice living room with large groups and good view of city, nice yard with chairs, tree swings and tight rope! - quiet at night - generally clean, but some countertops were dusty - really good ventilation for not having AC, lots of screens so bugs don\'t get in - good furnishing and lots of room to do stuff - large rooms and beds - cute dog (barked at us initially but later got used to it) - close to everything within driving (time advertised is driving time, not walking) - shampoo and essentials provided, lots of towels! - host was very accommodating, available to help and responded quickly - nice surrounded by nature Cons: - the owner is building a tree house, he had construction going on during the day which meant it was noise and kinda ruins the serenity of the place, we were not notified of this until checking in, some guests care about the noisiness during the day so this is definitely a deal breaking point for some people - parking in the driveway is somewhat challenging with bigger cars - wifi was weak and not usable in downstairs bedroom - lack of locks on all entry points into the house, sliding panel doors are not lockable, the construction workers came into the house to use the bathroom during the day... - would be nice if owner provided hosue rules ahead of time besides waiting for check-in, there are lots of tips and rules provided verbally - tons of electrical switches, consider labels to help guests navigate - there is a very strict no loud noise policy after 1030PM (not mentioned in description) - big screen TV is located in basement beside the gym which is not in a very usable spot - no hot tub, they have a Jacuzzi bathtub Overall I think we somewhat got our value for the place but think carefully it the cons I mentioned above mean a lot to you before booking.

Our group of 7, including my 3 year old, had a wonderful time at Jose\'s property. Jose is a welcoming host who takes very good care of his property (even in a tropical climate like Hawaii, we have never found a mosquito or cockroach on the property). Two things I like the most: the location is super convenient and the view is spectacular. I also find Jose quite flexible and accommodating to our unique needs during our stay. It is all about respect and communications, folks. Highly recommend and hope to be back.

We had a fantastic time at Jose\'s place. The location and view were amazing. From the house, we were able to easily explore the North Island and enjoy the nearby Manoa Falls hike, whilst still being able to easily duck down to Waikiki. We had two families with two adults and two children and there was ample space for all of us to enjoy. Jose was very accommodating to ensure we enjoyed the property.

Jose was an amazing host and was so genuinely kind and welcoming throughout the stay. He was easy to reach and was quick to remedy small issues (e.g. beeping fire alarm). Everyone had such a great time here and the view of Honolulu was SPECTACULAR. Thank you again Jose!
