It feels magical when you arrive here. Like an island in the trees, located on a private hilltop of paradise and only a two minute drive to the center of town. The private road leading up to the house is lined with mature Guanacaste trees and lush native flora.
 
The residence is newly constructed and tastefully decorated. The floor plan features three bedrooms/bathroom suites and powder room. The Tamarindo suite has a calming mountain view with a gorgeous sunrise experience. The Langosta suite overlooks the ocean which boasts a large terrace where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets stretching from Playa Grande to Playa Avellanas. The third bedroom on the first floor also includes a private bath and beautiful French doors that open up to the patio and the tropical Zen garden.
 
 The open air design of the main floor showcases a gourmet full service kitchen furnished with high-end appliances, granite counter tops, and custom wood cabinetry. The living area opens onto the spacious back terrace that includes an outdoor barbeque kitchen/dining area and infinity pool.  Indulge in the sense of swimming in the forest canopy while swimming in the pool or relax on the terrace  and enjoy some of the best views Tamarindo has to offer. A tiled roof covers a additional patio that enjoys a peaceful experience surrounded by lush green foliage where monkeys and birds visit.
 
The residence can provide full concierge service including tour reservations, fishing charters, rental car reservations, in home chef services, and real estate services.

We had a very nice time. Richard, our local host, was extremely helpful and had some fun suggestions. The house met our needs perfectly and has great ocean views as well as Howler Monkeys across the way most every morning! For some good dining don\'t miss Dragon Fly restaurant. Excellent!

Awesome property - gracious host!


This is a great place to stay while visiting Tamarindo! Richard made sure we were comfortable and gave us great recommendations on restaurants and tours and even escorted us to the beach our first night in town. It is private and quiet with spectacular views of the ocean and sunsets. All this while being only a short walk to downtown and the restaurants, bars, shopping and the beach. I could not have imagined a better place to stay!

Tranquil spacious place with view


The photos do not give this place justice. We stayed during Holy Week, the town was inundated with people, however the house being situated on top of the hill allowed for tranquil views but yet short distance to the madness. The rooms were spacious and having a pool with a sunset view was amazing. Iran was extremely helpful as well. The place is not only well maintained but the owners also used great materials in the construction. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house overlooking the ocean.


The pictures really don\'t do this house justice. It is much larger than it looks in the pictures, and the view from the large deck and pool is spectacular. The house is within a secured fence perimeter, has a large backup in ground water tank (there was a water line break while we were there and we were not impacted because there is a huge backup water source - thousands of gallons). The bedrooms are very comfortable and the house allows a good amount of space for people to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely look to stay there again.

Great Family Vacation Rental


Our family of 6 had a great time at the Sher\'s home in Tamarindo. The house is modern, clean, and very convenient. It provided ample space for our family to spread out, but still be together! The house is conveniently located near the town and beaches of Tamarindo - but also a short drive to other beaches and excursions. We appreciated all of the help from Richard, including providing us with some groceries for our first morning, taking us to the grocery store, giving us restaurant recommendations, and personally connecting us to the best excursions around! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this rental to any family looking for a relaxing vacation that can be filled with as much adventure as you desire!!
