Golden Pathways Retreat and B&B is located 9 Km south of Peterborough on 195 acres in a beautiful countryside setting. Each bedroom has a theme and was uniquely decorated by local artisans and family members. Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, a large screen tv, a private patio, 40 foot cascading water garden and fantastic sunrise and sunset views. The common area can be configured for multiple uses. In 2-3, Cora and her husband had to sell our century farm for the buffer zone for the landfill site. Cora decided to make that a positive experience by building a dream retreat on dream property. She is still in awe when people tell her how they are experiencing the exact things that were considered when she designed the retreat and B&B. They tell her that they relax as soon as they walk in. Then peace, creativity, problem solving, rejuvenation or healing can happen. Whether you are an individual, couple, traveler, family, team or group you will experience nourishment for your body and soul. Cora also loves to connect people with local resources, activities and highlights.
 
Ferndale Room
This room features a canopy queen bed, sofa bed and handcrafted decor. A private bathroom features a spa tub. Guests have access to a communal kitchen and large living room with a theatre TV screen.

CONTACT OWNER

I lead a busy life as a business and life coach, facilitator and B&B owner. I also volunteer with Economic Development boards and enjoy promoting our area to our guests. I also love meeting people from around the world and answering questions about Peterborough and The Kawarthas.

It is fun serving home cooked meals on the deck with herbs from the garden or produce from the local market or gardens.

My husband is a beef farmer and in the spring to fall season you will see cows and calves in the fields around the house.

Brenda and Helen are wonderful part-time staff that make this all work.
