The bustling inner harbor of Victoria with it's award-winning restaurants, big city shopping and other attractions is a mere 25-minute drive. As well, the suite is handy to public transportation. The double decker buses are fun!

Excellent facility with great hostess


Mildred has a well deserved reputation for making a visit to her Hideaway special. The location is so convenient to the village of Sidney via walking and to Victoria and Butchart Gardens via car or local bus. Her knowledge of Vancouver City, Victoria and other parts of Canada was very helpful and the use of her lawn chairs during our visit to the fireworks special event at Butchart Gardens was greatly appreciated. Sharing the evening with her at a very good out of the way local restaurant was a real treat.

Perfect gem in Sidney


We loved our stay in this lovely apartment in Sidney. It is beautifully finished, stylish and very comfortable. We loved the recliners, just perfect for two people. Mildred is so helpful and considerate, a pleasure to meet. The location of the apartment is amazing : in a quiet cul de sac, yet only five minutes walk from the main street of Sidney. Access to the highway is only a couple of minutes by car, very handy. We will always keep this apartment in mind whenever we return to the Island. A very relaxing stay ! Thanks Mildred !

This Must Surely Be the Gold Standard


My wife and I spent a month in this immaculate, comfortable and well-equipped suite; it was well-finished, thoroughly modern, comfortable and in all respects was \"as advertised\". The location is very convenient - an easy 5 or 10 minute walk to Sidney\'s delightful main street, with a restful lawn and garden area right out the patio door. As if all of that isn\'t enough, Mildred is a wonderful hostess - very warm and friendly, a great ambassador for Sidney and happy to suggest sites and activities to make your stay memorable; we felt more like guests in a friend\'s home than casual renters. Her positive outlook and helpful nature are quietly uplifting. Our best recommendation is the fact that we have booked our next one-month stay here next year and are looking forward to it!

Perfect, Peaceful and Safe Suite To Visit Victoria, BC


We so enjoyed this beautifully decorated and clean suite. It was everything we needed and the owner was so nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us, and very peaceful and safe, The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed visiting with the owner. She made our stay memorable. We hope to return one day. We definitely would recommend this suite to our friends and family.
