One is the residence of the Innkeeper and the office and the others are available for rental individually or you can rent the Entire Estate of (4) Villas. No need to rent a car..We have Van Service to pick you up from the Airport or any location in Costa Rica, Escort you daily to tours, shopping and restaurants and drop you off at your next location or Airport. Ask about the rates for the Van Service. 
 
Arenal Springs Villas by the Lake is the Most Magnificent and Pristine Property in the Arenal Lake area of Costa Rica. Temperatures here are the most comfortable in Costa Rica. The daily highs are in the low to mid 80's and the nightly lows are in the mid to high 60's years round. Beautiful Pool with more magnificent views. Fully equipped for cooking and has television with DVD players and movies available.
 
Lake access is available with kayak and canoe rentals. Fishing is great and charters are close by. There are many restaurants in the area for your dining pleasure. We have connections for tours, rental cars, etc. We have a trained staff of an English/Spanish speaking innkeeper, a professional maid and two full time gardeners.
 
We are so conveniently located if you want the flavor of getting the most out of your vacation. We are only 40 minutes from the Arenal Volcano (which is active and may be seen from our property. Also, 40 minutes to the Tabacon Hot Springs. The Beaches of Flamingo, Coco and Ocatal are less than two hours. Locally is Wind Surfing, Horseback Riding, Butterfly Exhibits, Biking, Canoeing, Fishing, Lake Tours, Canopy and Adventure Tours, ATV Tours and on and on.
 
Liberia Airport is only 90 minutes from our site. There is a Spectacular Mountain Route to San Hose the Capitol that is a three and a half hour drive. Waterfalls, swimming holes, coffee plantations, Flora farms, native fruit stands, and quaint little villages. Native restaurants with local cuisine will cost a family of four less than $20. A recent party of four from New York was to stay for one night and extended it by One day five times. His comment was that we were in the best location for someone to fulfill all the entertainment and sight seeing and that they did not need to relocate. The convenience of our location was so outstanding that they could go in different directions each day and have a great time without a plan when they began their morning.

Beautiful Property!


Very beautiful property 6 km from the nearest town. Son and I stayed with the intention of getting a real Costa Rica experience (not a resort). This property was perfect for that. Small house, but nice for two. Front porch is very nice to relax in. About 30-40 mins from La Fortuna where a lot of stuff is, but not so close to the tourists that you see them everywhere. Arenal Volcano is not visible from the property, but the views of the lake are absolutely gorgeous. House has functional kitchen but no oven, and you will have to buy/bring any of the bits and pieces you need for cooking ingredient-wise (salt and pepper, spices, oil, sugar, etc). Tom was very helpful before and during the trip. Follow his advice and you won\'t go wrong. (especially when it comes to drive time) This was our first trip to the country and it went off without a hitch, and lots of credit for that goes to Tom and his wife (who wasn\'t present, but helped before the trip with recommendations).

Pristine Grounds in an Excellent Location


Within an hour of the volcanoes, not many tourists around. Beautiful estate, nice pool (brisk and refreshing). The cottage was of European quality/standards, great woodworking inside. A great place to cook and relax. We saw Toucans! No mosquitos. Maria was very helpful and had a lot of good advice. We would definitely stay here again.

Breathtaking!


The best memorable trip ever!! The cozy house with a lake view, over the top accommodations and owners were the best! I can\'t explain how awesome the owners Tom and Maria was. We were greeted and welcomed like family! Maria is very helpful & knowledgeable of all the local activities. I highly recommend Enchanted Cottage. Spectacular!


After touring most of beautiful Costa Rica in it\'s \'\'summer\" months, we were dusty and hot and were overjoyed by the spectacular beauty and cool, crisp nighttime air at this beautiful property. What a joy to wake up to trilling out countless varieties of birds, and as my traveling companion is a birder, he was overjoyed. The house was cozy and well-appointed, the pool was sparkling, and we love the sound of the howler monkeys in the trees. The owners were so pleasant and very helpful when we needed information about local tours - we loved the boat trip.

The Gem of Costa Rica


My wife and I have been spending twenty-three days in the beautiful country of Costa Rica every year since 2007. We most likely know more about the country than most of the people that have lived there all of their lives. During those years we spent two of the weeks, on separate occasions, in the Arenal area. We decided to spend another week in Areal and by the greatest of flukes, we happened upon the internet pages for the Arenal Spring Villas rental cottages. If you are a one time visitor or are revisiting Costa Rica, the best place to savor what Costa Rica has to offer is at the rental cottages of Tom and Maria Ploskina. Besides visiting the most active volcano in the country, there are three zip lines, hot springs, hanging bridges, waterfalls, and excursions to nearby Monte Verde. Eating opportunities, wildlife viewing, and orchids are found everywhere. We stayed in the Enchanted Cottage, which has a babbling brook just outside the window to fall asleep by and a pool just out the back door. The cottage was more than we could have asked for. This gated paradise is the best kept secret in the country. The lands are immaculately groomed and the house keeping staff are some of the most friendly individuals that I have ever met in my life. The pictures on the website will blow you away but be prepared to be even more overwhelmed upon your arrival.
