Bittersweet is located 15 minutes north-east of Downtown Asheville, 15 minutes from Black Mountain, 20 minutes to gates of Biltmore Estate, 20 minutes to UNC Asheville, 4 minutes to Warren Wilson College, 5 minutes to an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 35 minutes to AVL Regional Airport. It is very close to groceries, gas, restaurants, and some of the BEST homemade ice cream you’ve ever eaten!
 
Bittersweet boasts 4 luxurious king bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite tile/glass bath; dual sinks, and resort style glass door enclosed showers, plush towels and blow dryers. You’ll sleep soundly on Tempur-Breeze Cooling mattresses with high-end linens and bedding, 4 king down pillows, complete with down comforters to snuggle under. Each bedroom has a flat panel TV discretely hidden behind custom cabinetry. Upon its approach, Bittersweet sits prominently up on your left. It’s artisan shutters and drip chains, professional landscaping; reveal this is no ordinary home. But, you are in for an extraordinary experience.
 
Enjoy the Vintage French Industrial look, with unique touches, comfortable furnishings, and warm tones. No detail has been overlooked for the comfort of our guests, right down to the cozy bathrobes.
 
Outfitted with high-end stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, the open kitchen with dining area is the hub of the house, and a wonderful place to enjoy a meal together. The large dining table comfortably seats 8 guests in deliciously upholstered distressed brown leather chairs, bringing in elegance and comfort.
 
The den with flat panel TV, just off the kitchen, has several conversation areas allowing all to gather and visit to plan the next day. Or, sneak off to the living room, with another flat panel TV, to watch your special show, read a book, or have a quiet conversation in the comfy overstuffed wing chairs.
 
The outdoor space is AMAZING! At the center of it all is a large waterfall (operation of which is seasonal) with the calming sound of falling water to add to the ambiance. The semi enclosed dining area, with flat panel TV, lends a bit of elegance to outdoor dining and is perfect for those days when the weather just isn’t cooperating. The covered outdoor area boasts a wood burning fireplace, flat panel TV, refrigerator, sink, gas grill, and more comfortable seating. This is everyone’s favorite place to be! Just off this area is also a wood burning fire pit.

Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations made more than 60 days prior to occupancy will forfeit 50% of the nightly rental fee paid, plus the processing charge (2.95%). All cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the occupancy date will forfeit 100% of the nightly rental fee paid, plus the processing charge (2.95%). Any payment toward Cleaning Fee, Accidental Rental Damage Insurance Fee (ARDI), Facility Fee, will be refunded. Guest will be entitled to a refund less the cancellation fee, 25% of total nightly rental fee paid to date, if the property is re-rented for the same term (number of days), or portion there of, and at the same rate as contracted by the guest. AVL Property Management will make a diligent effort to re-rent the property. If balance due/final payment is not received by the due date as presented in the rental agreement, your reservation will be treated as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited unless we can re-rent the property as indicated above. If a guest is disappointed or unsatisfied with the property due to differences in taste according to decor, accommodations, location, construction, mountain road conditions, etc. and declines to stay at the property, this will be considered a cancellation and no rent reduction or refund will be issued.

Deposit Policy:

Reservations are not confirmed until the initial deposit, or full payment whichever applies, is secured by AVL.
