The Retreat is a welcome respite, an experience you won't soon forget. Enjoy looking out at the mountains on 5 acres of peace and privacy. The large beautiful main house has an open floor plan, with additional warm and welcoming "Bee Keepers Cottage", connected by a meandering fieldstone walkway. Please see layout by floor below. Property amenities include; stocked pond (catch and release), relax down by the stream and wade in to cool off on a warm day, the pavilion with stone fireplace (wood provided) just off the main house has gas heaters for those extra chilly nights, 2 fully stocked kitchens (drip coffee makers, complimentary coffee provided), fire pit down by the stream, gas grill on deck off main house dining area, wood burning fireplace main house, (wood provided), gas fire place in guest cottage, front load washer & dryer both properties, the list goes on. Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations made more than 60 days prior to occupancy will forfeit 50% of the nightly rental fee paid, plus the processing charge (2.95%). All cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the occupancy date will forfeit 100% of the nightly rental fee paid, plus the processing charge (2.95%). Any payment toward Cleaning Fee, Accidental Rental Damage Insurance Fee (ARDI), Facility Fee, will be refunded. Guest will be entitled to a refund less the cancellation fee, 25% of total nightly rental fee paid to date, if the property is re-rented for the same term (number of days), or portion there of, and at the same rate as contracted by the guest. AVL Property Management will make a diligent effort to re-rent the property. If balance due/final payment is not received by the due date as presented in the rental agreement, your reservation will be treated as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited unless we can re-rent the property as indicated above. If a guest is disappointed or unsatisfied with the property due to differences in taste according to decor, accommodations, location, construction, mountain road conditions, etc. and declines to stay at the property, this will be considered a cancellation and no rent reduction or refund will be issued.

Deposit Policy:
50% deposit is required to secure reservation when outside the 60 day window of desired check-in date.

Reservations are not confirmed until the initial deposit, or full payment whichever applies, is secured by AVL.
