If you have ever dream about a villa holiday in blissful seclusion where you can lose all sense of time, then this unique property will prove ideal, enjoying one of the most enviable positions you are ever likely to find in Crete.
 
Perched on a hilltop and on the edge of the sea, the views are stupendous and its immaculate interior match its magnificent location.
 
The villa has two floors, each with its own private entrance into a three bedroom apartment.For all intents and purposes the two units are entirely separate and private and in our view it is also ideally suited to a larger group who may wish to rent the whole property exclusively.
 
The swimming pool is situated in the rocks to one side and is accessed by a common path from the house.Whether you are lounging on the terraces around the pool or relaxing on the spacious private balconies, the views are fabulous and the silence broken only by the waves against the rocky shoreline below.
 
The standard of the interiors is high, each apartment consists of two bathrooms one with shower, and the other with a jacuzzi bath, three good size bedrooms, one double and two twins, some bedrooms have a balcony, a spacious sitting/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen in a section off the sitting area.
 
The sitting room which has a fireplace, is tastefully furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, a wide glazed window with two doors leads to a huge balcony with views that will take your breath away.Each apartment has the added convenience of a dishwasher, and a washing machine is provided in the larger of the two bathrooms.
 
With a constant breeze for which Crete is well known, the villa never feels stuffy and yet air-conditioning is provided in every room.

Perfect Vacation


The house was just perfect for my group of six - aged 19 to 70 years of age. George and Penelope were more than helpful in seeing to our comfort and in helping in finding wonderful places to eat. The view was magnificent and I could have stayed forever. Thank you George; It was a truly wonderful time.

Our holiday was really great!


Our holiday was really great! We enjoyed the opportunities of the house and garden, we did yoga and gymnastics near the pool and of course swimming!!! Breakfast and dinner was outside with fantastic view! Because of the location of the villa Penelope in the West part, we had sundown with seaside every evening. Sleeping was a pleasure thanks to the comfortable beds. The equipment of the house was according to the details described, no wishes open, included was even a special fridge for red wine! Of course the property was clean and well-maintained! Even if there is always pressure to book via global internet sites, we would like to do it with the real owners, as in the end, we get into contact with them anyway. And it was a pleasure for us to meet directly. And thanks for the help you offered to us!! Supermarket, restaurants, monastery, additional cover . And we are sure one day we come back with our families!!!

Spectacular Villa by the Sea


Villa Penelope was spectacular. We knew what to expect on the outside (the pictures do not do it justice) but the inside was much nicer that we expected. We were 3 families with a total of 11 people. The young adults (or children) took over the upstairs apartment and the parents stayed in the downstairs apartment. Everything was perfect. Penelope\'s father, George, greeted us when we arrived and he was a pleasure. he took us to a local grocery store so that we can stock up on groceries. The fridge was already stocked with water and local fruit (watermelon and melons were delicious). George and Penelope were always available and helped us with places to visit and directions. Cannot say enough good things about this villa and our hosts. The views were amazing. The boys took a hike down the rocks and found a natural salt water pool. The sunsets were spectacular. The private pool was perfect. The villa and grounds were immaculate. There was more than enough room for everyone and the beds were super comfortable. The villa was so spectacular when we arrived that we almost didn\'t want to leave to explore the area. A car is a must. There are beautiful beaches in close proximity but you might want to take a drive to Elafonissi Beach or a boat ride to Balos Beach (well worth it). Chania is about a 20 minute drive from the Villa and the limani (Old Chania Town) is about a half hour drive. The villa was a haven after a day of exploring. We stayed 7 days and we were all extremely sad to leave. We would like to thank Penelope and her family for providing us with a most memorable vacation. We hope that we can visit again very soon.
