Description

It is the typical medieval village house, perfectly restored, keeping intact the taste and the atmosphere of the houses of the past, very pretty, romantic and bright, directly on the lake in an enviable, quiet, reserved and silent position, WIFI and free parking permit: the price set refers to the ground floor of the house for two people, where you will find: entrance, a large room with comfortable sofa bed for two people, fully equipped kitchenette, a double bedroom, bathroom, cellar and large terrace directly on the lake!
 
If you are a larger group of people or simply want more space and privacy, upstairs I have two other large double rooms with balcony and bathroom. 
At the time of booking I would like to know how you prefer the layout of the beds and especially the expected time of your arrival.
At check-in I need a copy of the passport of all the participants to the stay, including children, as well as having to collect the tourist tax that is equal to 1 euro per day per person.

The house is Great and Sarah the host of the house is so helpfut and friendly!!


The view of the lake does not disappoint. The house is a 1 min walk to the bakery and every morning there is fresh bread and croissants. There is a pub and espresso shop all within 1 min too. It is helpful once you figure the bus system it is the easiest and least expensive way to get around. If you need anything you can call Sarah anytime and she can help with travel around the area.

Quiet beautiful perfect location


Communications with Sara was very easy and she was there waiting for us when we arrived. A very friendly helpful host. The house had everything we needed, well kitted out kitchen and the beds were clean and tidy. I discovered on our last day when doing a quick tidy up that the wicker seat under the cushion on one of the dinning rooms chairs had given way. I hope we didn\'t do that. The view from the rear terrace doesn\'t cease to take your breath away, it is truly beautiful and I think you would struggle to find a more peaceful spot on any of the Italian lakes. The location is perfect for exploring both Lake Lugano and Lake Como. 15 minutes takes you to Menaggio where you can hop on a ferry to Varenna or Bellagio or both quite easily with a central lake pass. Also lots of lovely walks and Villas to explore on the Italian side of the border. Towards Switzerland we checked out Mount Bre (drive up) Gandria, Mount Generoso and the Bellinzona castles. Everything was perfect including the weather. Thank you Sara, top marks!
