We strive to keep the house in beautiful condition for our guests. Great Beach vacation

Nice big backyard, great for lounging after the beach or for kids or grandkids playing ball. Used the grill every night to cook. Like having the wagon, beach chairs and toys in the garage. With small kids, the walk to the beach is a little long but doable. Scarborough Beach is clean and lots of parking. Like having a playground in the neighborhood and pretty quiet neighborhood. Lots of kitchen utensils but microwave could use an update. Air Conditioners in each bedroom worked well. Loved having fenced in backyard and outdoor shower. Would come again.

Clean charming & peaceful

A fantastic pristine home with all the bells & whistles provided for a fantastic vacation!

This house has everything you need -- and everything you want.

My family of six, which includes my husband and I, my two teenage daughters, my 10-year-old son, and my 81-year-old mother, just stayed at the house for a week. The house had absolutely everything we needed -- and even more, some features made it even better than I expected. And, as a lifelong visitor to Cape Cod, I was pleasantly surprised by how much Rhode Island had to offer! First of all, I was able to give my mother the downstairs bedroom so that she didn\'t have to climb stairs, had some privacy, and had her own bathroom. That eliminated any concern I had over her comfort. The rest of us were happy upstairs. I loved the fact that every room had its own air conditioning unit. (They weren\'t window units, they were these units mounted high on the wall that had remote controls.) The washer and drier, dishwasher, and garbage disposal were key for convenience, and all the cable stations on the TV were an added bonus. The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. Also, having beach chairs and sand toys meant there was a lot we didn\'t have to pack in our car, which we really appreciated. Scarborough Beach was great. Plenty of parking for a decent price. Once you pay, you can come and go. Good beach food, lots of space, and great waves for boogie boarding. We went into Newport one day and toured the Breakers and the Elms. We did an additional \"Servant Life\" tour (Downton Abbey fan), which was fascinating. We also took the ferry over to Block Island and did a tour of the island. We went into Narragansett a few times and ate at Trio, which as delicious, and we also got a lot of takeout -- specifically from this fantastic place called Crazy Burger. We also miniature golfed. Everyplace we went was a 5 to 25 minute drive, so the location was perfect. We will be back! The house was great, and whenever I emailed Derek with questions he got back to me really quickly.
