About Robin and Robert LumpkinMy father, Les Goff owns Pioneer Creek Cabin. He is a retired CFO with Del-Air Heating and A/C , and resides in Longwood, FL. He golfs any chance he gets and doesn't miss a Gator game! He is a patient, understanding, and reliable father, grandfather, and friend. My name is Robin Lumpkin and I manage the property for him. My husband and I moved to Clyde, NC from Florida in 2011.I have owned our owned and operated our vacation cabin in Candler, NC since 2007. Dad has since bought a second log cabin in Jonathan Creek off Hwy 276 which I will be managing also. I am an artist using reclaimed barn wood and metal roofing materials to create my folk art. We are enjoying our new life in the mountains, you can find me selling my "barn wood art" at many of the local arts and crafts festivals. We have two grown children, Chad 27, and Kaycie 25.Robin and Robert Lumpkin purchased this Cabin in 2015Why Robin and Robert Lumpkin chose Maggie ValleyMy father purchased this lovely property as a vacation retreat to escape the summer heat of Central Florida. After looking at numerous cabins to potentially buy, we fell in "complete love" with this place the minute we walked on the grounds. An amazing sense of history sparked our imagination when entering the authentic 1851 Appalachian log cabin, wishing the walls could talk about all they have seen.

Amazing!

This was the second time we stayed here, & our time was just as good as the first!

Very nice, very clean

Could not have been any nicer. Old log cabin restored and decorated perfectly with other spacious rooms added. Perfect location to everything to do in Maggie Valley.

Perfect for a delightful break from reality!

We had a wonderful restful stay at this charming cottage. It was very clean, very quiet, well maintained and equipped beyond expectations. The owners were easy and pleasant to deal with and we hope to stay again in the near future. I can only imagine how beautiful this property is in the spring, summer and fall based on seeing it in the month of February. It is easy to see that this cabin has the personal touches of an artist and a highly skilled caretaker, we hated to leave!

Cutest little cabin!

Exceeded expectations. Very well stocked.

Great cabin with a mix of historic and new elements.

Stayed Christmas week and had a great time. Cabin is located on a great property far enough off the main road to be secluded but close enough to be Convenient. Loved the rustic feel of the place.
