"Surf's Up" is a magnificent, ocean front home looking over the vast St. Augustine dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. Walking into the foyer, you are greeted by soft colors, beachy decor, and beautiful pine floors. The main living area is on the 1st floor. The living room, dining area, and kitchen look out over the wrap-around deck and the beach in the back ground. The living room is warm and inviting with its many windows allowing plenty of natural light. The sofas and chairs allow guests to gather around a decorative fireplace to socialize, or watch their favorite show on one of many TVs in the house. There is a powder room off of the living room. Next to the living room is the sun room with two day beds, sitting area, and another TV. The sun room can be used as a 6th bedroom, however it does not have a closet. The dining table has  comfortable seating for 8, but you could squeeze in 10 or 12 if needed. The kitchen is spacious and fully loaded with everything you need to make your favorite meals. The chef in your group will appreciate the granite counters, wood cabinets, stainless appliances, and plenty of prep space. We have a side by side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser in the door.  
 
On the main level is a fabulous master suite. Here, guests will find a comfy king bed. There is also a nautically-themed desk with work space, and high speed wireless Internet. There is a flat screen TV mounted on the wall in the bedroom. The master bath is very spacious, with a double vanity, deep soaking tub, separate shower and enclosed toilet room. The back deck wraps from the back of the house around to the master bedroom. Guests have deck access from the master bedroom.  
 
On the 2nd floor, there are four more bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is a second master bedroom upstairs. It is on the ocean side of the house and features a king bed, TV, and a large, private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and ocean views. The 4th bedroom is also on the ocean side. It has 2 twin beds and a TV with a DVD/VCR player. The 5th bedroom has two more twin beds. Bedrooms 3,4, and 5 share a full bathroom which features a pedestal sink and a shower/tub combo.
 
On the ground level, the back deck offers a sunny place to sit and watch the passing pelicans, or to lay out in the sun and work on your tan. There is a patio table with seating for six, high top chairs with an umbrella, and a couple of recliners. There is a separate laundry room on the ground level. It has two sets of washers and dryers. There is also a bathroom in the laundry room. It has a shower, sink, and toilet. The beach is accessible via a public walkway just a few steps from the house. When you return from the beach, we have a private, outdoor shower closet!
 
There is plenty of parking space here. We have covered carport parking for two cars, and at least 4 more cars can park in the driveway. We have a small garage, but it is used mainly to store beach toys (surf boards, beach chairs, etc). Also 7 beach cruiser bikes to tool around the beach or ride to local shop. Helmets also supplied.

About Bill Black Our family has loved going to St. Augustine Beach for many years. We never get tired of being there and enjoying all the wonderful things to do in the area. Bill Black purchased this House in 2017 Why Bill Black chose Saint Augustine I looked at many homes to purchase this past spring. I fell in love with this house as it makes you feel so warm and welcome.There is a real cozy feeling and many areas for socializing with family and friends. I also hope to add a pool, hot tub, and fire pit in the Spring of 2018 to make it a perfect beach house with everything you need. What makes this House unique I will never get tired of enjoying each day we have spent here together. Every visit leads to wanting to come back even longer the next time. The hard wood floors and knowing the history of this house and all it's wonderful features is something I never thought I would find.

Fabulous!


Our time here was fabulous. The house is well laid out and very comfortable with everything you need right there. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of towels, a great laundry room and even bikes and other stuff to use. We had a full house and it didn\'t feel cramped at all. The house is laid out really well and just great for relaxing. The new pool and hot tub are also wonderful. The location is fabulous as well. Within walking distance to a ton of different restaurants, stores and local things, and right on the beach with easy access. Bill was also great in all communications. I had made an error on our booking dates when I made the reservation and he was on it and we had it all sorted out in less than 24 hours. I honestly can\'t recommend this place enough. We loved it so much we\'re going to be booking again for next year!

Beautiful, spacious home right on the beach. great for a large family gathering.


We really appreciated the kitchen with every pan and gadget needed and the 2 washers and dryers easily accessed on our way to and from the beach. Looking forward to enjoying the pool and hot tub which will soon be installed.

The house is beautiful and comfy. Love the fact that the outdoor shower has hot water! Two washers and dryers make it a breeze to get laundry done. Close to anything you need. Would love to return when the pool is done.

A wonderful house in a fantastic location


We rented the house for 5 nights. From the very beginning the owner was great he was in contact with us and gave us a lot of information regarding the house and the area. The house was clean and very well supplied with all that we needed. The location was great. Beach access next to the house and a very short drive to the historic area.

Great house and great location


We had our 19th annual Dee Day event here this weekend. This was the first time we stayed in St. Augustine. The house was great. We were pleased with the space. Loved the twin rooms and bonus twins on first floor. The kitchen was well equip and even had condiments, paper plates and more. More than adequate space for our party of 8 and 1/2. We didn\'t even use all the perks - bikes and paddle boards, outdoor shower. We actually got to check in a little early (thanks Bill) and we met the housekeeper who was great! My only wish was a covered deck to enjoy the beach view, but you can\'t have everything. Great rental - awesome house! You will love it here. So many extras too -$25 gift certificate for Ale house, free koozies, beach towels, books to read - this place has it all. Thanks for sharing with us!
