Description

Desert Rose is a secluded waterfront cottage on the 5-acre Monticello Estate. It is perched directly over one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island, famous for the unbelievable pink sand and turquoise water. 
 
Enjoy fantastic views looking at the Atlantic Ocean. The big beach Tiki Hut and the deck are a unique opportunity to enjoy the paradise from really close. Cool breezes, crystal waters,  the Palmetto trees, and miles long beaches are what you will experience staying at Monticello - Desert Rose. 
 
Desert Rose is a two bedroom, one bath cottage. The master bedroom has a king bed and an additional room has a twin bunk bed. All rooms have a separate ceiling fans and air conditioners. The living room has a big sofa as well as  Satellite TV,DVD Player and stereo. The house has a separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
 
The cottage is ideal for 2-4 guests, but we can accommodate larger groups as well.

100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.

Please turn off air-conditioners when windows are open or when you leave the house.

Please turn lights off when not in use or you leave the house.

The house is on a rainwater cistern, please be conservative the water usage.

At the end of your stay, the house will be inventoried and any or all missing items will be paid for.

Excellent house and PERFECT beach!


We had a wonderful week enjoying this house while celebrating our 25th anniversary. The beach was amazing. Reef just off shore and the sand was beautiful. The house had everything we needed. Grocery stores are close. Restaurants are close. The AC was good. There\\\'s a covered area out back with a big table and grill. Beach chairs, snorkel gear.....you need to bring a few clothes, sunscreen, deet and food. This was our fifth trip to Eleuthera and we have never seen a better stocked house. Thank you so much for all the extras you provide for your guests! We had a very memorable week and plan to return. This would be a great house to bring our grandkids to at some point.

Dream Vacation that feels like you own the Island Kevin & Barbara from Texas


This was the most amazing Vacation I / WE have ever had. It is really like paradise. The Desert Rose Place we stayed at had everything you need as if you were at home and much more. Inside the Desert Rose Cottage everything you need to cook with, Entertainment center with surround sound, all Bathroom and Bedroom necessities , great view of the Atlantic and Beach. Amazing Decks all around the Cottage with a really well maintained yard all around the cottage. Great beautiful Beach and Blue ocean water with Decks to show all the angle of beautiful views for your eyes content. Here me out...... if you want a Great place to Vacation..... This is the spot !!!!!!. Me and my Lady had the Great Opportunity to meet Miss Barbara Mozzato and she is a amazing Lady that we had the pleasure to chat with. Thank you Miss Barbara for a Great Place to relax and enjoy. PS. I could have wrote much more about many other great things about the Desert Rose, But Believe me you have just got to go see and experience it yourself. You WILL NOT regret it !!!!!!

Lovely very private beach-front house with swimming and snorkeling just steps away.


My wife and I spent a blissful 4th of July weekend here. We saw just a few people a day on the secluded miles-long beach; I didn\\\'t think that kind of privacy was available any more in the Caribbean. The thatched hut on the beach in the photos was perfect for breakfast and for an afternoon nap. The house is very comfortable even on hot afternoons, and at night we were soothed to sleep with the sound of waves gently lapping the sandy beach. And although it did get warm in the afternoon, it was a lot cooler than Atlanta in the summer time. The house accommodates 5, with a spacious master suite and comfy king-sized bed and its own air-conditioning unit and ceiling fan. The guest bedroom has two bunk beds and there is a pull out bed in the large living room. The kitchen is very well appointed with modern appliances. There is one large bathroom with a roomy shower. There are several good restaurants within a few minutes drive and groceries and gas within 5 minutes. Highly recommended.

Wonderful property, as displayed, not one issue


Seamless process from start to finish, Property manager was on point and did everything we needed without hesitation. If you want to unplug, relax and enjoy wonderful beaches, this is the place. I would recommend this to any friend or relatives.
