San Kevi 201 would be an outstanding getaway wherever it was located. The sprawling 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom condo epitomizes livable luxury. That it directly overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and is just steps from the sugary beach of Indian Shores only makes the condo even more spectacular.
 
Large windows allow for panoramic views of the gulf from just about anywhere in San Kevi 201’s great room. From the palm-frond-style ceiling fans to the crown moldings, the room—and the entire condo—was designed with a decorator’s eye. One area, furnished with a pair of roomy armchairs, offers a particularly stellar view of the walkway to the beach, the palm trees swaying in the breeze, and the dolphins frolicking in the sparkling gulf. A luxurious sectional sofa, large enough to host the whole gang, serves as a gathering spot for watching TV. Want to watch something different from the others? San Kevi 201 has a separate screening room, with an even larger flat-panel TV and a sumptuous leather sofa.
 
Back in the great room, just beyond the sectional, is a wet bar so well equipped, you might think it’s the kitchen. The actual kitchen is a chef’s delight. Even if you vowed never to cook while on vacation, San Kevi 201’s kitchen will change your mind. Stainless-steel appliances (including multiple ovens), granite countertops, handsome cabinetry, a convenient island, a wealth of storage: The kitchen will spur you to new culinary heights, whether you’re hosting a Thanksgiving feast or simply whipping up breakfast for the family.
 
The breakfast bar seats four people, and the wet bar can seat another 2. For sit-down meals, you’ll want to gather at the dining table, which seats 8 in chairs so comfortable. You’ll find yourself lingering long after the meal is over. For cocktails or dessert, you might want to head outside onto the private balcony. Settle back in one of the cushioned patio chairs and admire the fiery sunset reflected in the gulf waters; it’s a sight you’ll long remember.
 
The master bedroom opens onto its own balcony. Slip out first thing in the morning to watch seabirds swoop and dive for their breakfast; before calling it a night pick out the constellations in the star-studded sky with your special someone. The room itself is a true haven, with a lofty king-size bed, sitting areas for catching up on your reading, and an en-suite bathroom with both a soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
 
Each of the other two bedrooms has its own bathroom and king-size bed as well, making San Kevi 201 as blissfully accommodating for several couples vacationing together as it is for a family. Should you have additional guests, one of the sofas opens into a queen-size bed, enabling the condo to sleep 8 people in all.
 
The San Kevi complex consists of only 8 units, so the private swimming pool will never be overly crowded. Let's not forget to mention that the condo just steps from the beach. Take a swim and then lay on one of the poolside chaises listening to the waves lap onto the sands or luxuriate in the outdoor spa.
 
And then, of course, there’s the beach itself. Because it’s practically your backyard, you can come and go as you please: paddleboard in the morning, canoe or kayak in the afternoon, collect shells before dinner, enjoy a moonlit stroll after dark. Should you want a change of pace, you can drive to St. Petersburg on the mainland. Just a little more than a half-hour away, it’s home to myriad urbane attractions, including the Dalí Museum and the Chihuly Collection.
 
Though given how sumptuous San Kevi 201 is, you could happily spend your entire stay in and around the condo, reveling in the sea breezes, the postcard-perfect views, and the exceptional serenity and comfort. If only the best will do, San Kevi 201 is for you!.
