Near the Harbour Town course is the Harbour Town Lighthouse and waterfront, with restaurants, shops, and access to all sorts of water sports, including paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, and parasailing. The house is also just a short walk or bike ride to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, which includes bridle paths, boardwalks over wetlands, fishing docks, and the 4,000-year-old Sea Pines Shell Ring, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. And of course there are the beaches themselves; at least once during your stay you’ll want to head out early enough to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic; you may spy dolphins greeting the morning as well!
