We have recently renovated our beach house completely and adoringly furnished and decorated it. Located in the heart of the tropical paradise of Fort Myers beach, our beach house is distinguished by the cosy ambience of a beach house with style and comfort like German television and internet. Enjoy a Caribbean cocktail on the big lovely patio surrounded by tropical plants or fantastic American steaks on the BBQ, before you go for a 'Sundowner' on the beach and the most beautiful sunsets. You will find rest and peace here and a kids’ friendly beach and if you want water sport activities, hustle and bustle of the city and want to party, then you can go 300m further. Just 1 km to the pier and the vibrant Fort Myers Beach. Bring just those things which are most personally required for you. Books, games, hair dryer, iron etc. everything is there!
 
My day in Almas beach house: Dinner on the patio, surrounded by tropical plants, sunshine, good spirits. Then pack up the beach chairs and towels and go down to the beach. Just across the road and you feel like you are in paradise. You can let your souls dangle here.
 
The white sand camouflages, there is beach as far as the eyes can see. First of all a walk on the beach to the pier, watch pelicans and ibises, collect shells and swim in the warm gulf. Short break in the afternoons at the house for a siesta.
 
Afternoons again on the beach, swim in the sea once more. Then the BBQ is fuelled up - fat rump steaks, tasty fish, perhaps the 'catch of the day'? A glass of ice cold wine, what more does the heart want? Chairs tucked under the arm after the meal and down to the beach - the sunset is unforgettable and I am right in the middle of it! One more stroll through the FTM Beach after that with an ice cream or a cocktail or buy a souvenir.
 
We, the property owners, spend several weeks in this house every year. And during those occasions new things are bought and replaced. The house is always in the best condition. The house manager takes care of the guests and the house affectionately and lovingly.

Exception: US local phone network can be called free of charge in Florida. (List of free countries and services are available on site or can be consulted with us)! So you can enjoy staying in contact with home cost free :)

Winter time on the beach


The house worked out fantastic for the family. The grand kids loved the short walk to the beach and to \"Time Square\" . The upgrades on the house we\'re well done, new tile through out and the landscaping was great. The house is close enough to all the restuarants, the beach and the activities and yet far enough away so the \"Spring breakers\" weren\'t a distraction. Two houses off of the main street, yet a very quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful family vacation


Our family had much to celebrate - 25th Wedding Anniversary, college graduation and a few birthdays. The six of us spent 10 glorious days in the beautiful sunshie of Fort Myers Beach, FL. The water was warm and the beach house was perfect. it had EVERYTHING and more. Plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen was well equipped (although there is no microwave)but we did not miss it. We enjoyed the back deck, beautiful landscape and very secluded. We BBQ\'d on the grill three times. The beach is right there and the house had beach chairs, umbrella\'s along with buckets and shovels for our use. Everything was clean and we felt right at home,. We can\'t wait to come back - but we are going to wait another 25 years !

Beautiful, almost like home


We were 3 weeks on site. The house is lovingly furnished. We have found the house in a clean and tidy condition. The kitchen equipment is good and the furniture is well preserved. Utensils for the beach are available. The house has German television (even Sky) and we could call for free in the German landline. On the beautiful terrace is a large barbecue we liked to use. Towels for the baths and the beach are sufficiently available. We felt very comfortable and like to come back.

Ideal for children and grandparents


As other reviewers have written, everything was abundant in the house. And we have increased the sand toys a bit. The beach house is close to the beautiful beach, from the main island road next to the house you get nothing. We were on Sanibel, but the beach on the doorstep was unbeatable. Beautiful white powdered sugar sand was great for our children (3 + 6), there are also small shells and in the evening at low tide a lot of snails and shells to watch. Due to hungry mosquitoes, we barbecued only twice on the beautiful terrace, but worked well (even without experience with gas grill) By separating the bedrooms through a passage room also ideal for holidays with the grandparents. The German care on site was also good.

Four Swedish pensioners at the beach


The location is excellent. Bath towel and sun chair and off to the beach. In the house are all utensils, kitchen, laundry beach, games, bicycles, as described abundant. The terrace with the tropical plants and trees is inviting. The high speed internet and many TV channels are praiseworthy. We were able to watch Swedish TV via the Internet and make free calls.
