Matt and Celeste Jarvis have a special place in their hearts for St. Croix. The couple met there, were married there and hope to retire there. Celeste grew up on the St. Croix and the beauty and wonder of the island lead to her becoming an environmental scientist. Both Matt and Celeste had successful careers working with NASA and NOAA, and raised a family in Davidsonville, Maryland. The couple is currently working and travelling extensively. When on island, Matt is an artist specializing in island landscapes and Celeste supports environmental sustainability of the island ecology.Celeste and Matt Jarvis purchased this House in 2017

Beautiful property!!


We’d like to thank Celeste and Matt for sharing their paradise with us for our wedding! I can’t imagine a more gorgeous place to stay on this fabulous island! The home is exactly as represented in the photos, and completely equipped with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. It completely “Wowed” us when we walked in. The spacious open floor plan was perfect for our 4 couples. The view and the pool made it hard to go and explore the island. We did explore the island, and the snorkeling was stunning. We took a boat trip to Buck island, kayaked the Salt River bioluminescent bay, and hiked the Rain Forest, a must see. We are already planning our trip back.

Just Beautiful!


Well after the 6 Seniors had a rough start. We decided to go in town the first night and got lost coming back to the property home in the dark. After a few hours of thinking we could find it, a few neighbors came to our rescue. Thanks to Rob especially. The Villa is just beautiful. We were amazed at the cleanliness of the Villa and just how stunning the views. Pool was so clean. The entire house is amazing. The water in St. Croix is so clean and clear. Just had a wonderful time. We would like to Thank Rosalee and Bo. If we needed anything it was taken care of. Even the flat back tire on the last day. Bo to the rescue. We all enjoyed the vacation immensely. St. Croix is beautiful. Don\'t miss a trip to Buck Island just stunning. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Villa! Spacious and gorgeous views!


The villa and cottage were perfect for our vacation. We had plenty of space for our two families - 9 people total. What we loved about the villa -- -- lovely and spacious interior -- clean -- pool and patio were a great place for the kids and adults to hang out and have fun -- the views from both sides of the villa were just fantastic -- we enjoyed grilling out What we loved about St. Croix -- relaxed and friendly atmosphere -- great beaches - we went to Isaac\'s Bay (short drive from villa and then about a 0.8 walk to the beach), Smuggler\'s Cove and the beaches at the Buccaneer Hotel -- Sunrise at Point Udall was really nice - short drive to the parking area -- We took a boat out to Buck Island (Jolly Roger) for a day trip of snorkeling, hanging out at the beach and hiking -- this was one of the best days of the trip!! The owners and manager of the villa are just great! They responded to our questions right away and Rosalee met us at the airport and led us to the villa (we rented Jeeps for the stay). We would highly recommend this villa and cottage!

The house was very clean and comfortable with me of the best views on the island 1


We were greeted at the airport and they took us to the store. They then followed us to the house and help us put all the groceries away. After a quick walkthrough they left their cntact info in case we need anything and left. The house was close to many good beaches and snorkel spots and not far from a few bars and a store. I would recommend this place to family or friends and I’ll stay here again when we return.

Fantastic property, amazing views, everything we needed!


Fantastic property for 8 of us to celebrate several birthdays ( including my 50th!) and have fun on my favourite Caribbean island. At first thought it might be too remote/ far from town but actually out was probably even better because of that? The location is Great, the views on both sides, just stunning. Rosalee did a great shop for us so we had everything we needed for the first couple of days. Plenty of drinking water supplied, ice machine and everything you could possibly need. Walked down to Grapetree Bay ( South side beach) the first day, steep walk back but worth it. Spent a whole day at Smugglers Cove ( beach in the north side) and took the cooler, beach chairs and snorkling stuff down there. Ate in 3 or 4 times( bbq and cooked a fish curry after our fishing trip) and ate in town several times. Loved my coffee on the deck in the morning watching the sun rise! Pool was lovely , girls spent alot of time sun bathing and swimming. All had our own bedroom and bathroom so that was nice too ( we had the seperate cottage to achieve that), fans and air con for all too. Really can\'t fault the property, it\'s the Caribbean and after a major hurricane i was amazed at the condition of everything? We all had an amazing 10 days and would definately rent again. Beautiful all around


We had a lovely trip! The house was more than big enough for 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids aged 6-9) & the views were absolutely spectacular. Everything was clean & whenever we had small issues (i.e., the pool needed to be cleaned because of the wind), Rosalee & Bo were on it right away. The pool was a perfect size for our kids - who are good swimmers but like being able to touch the bottom. They raced & played in the pool quite happily all week. We really liked the East End of the island - parts of it were far emptier & less developed than most Caribbean islands we\'ve visited, & we saw only a few visitors at the beaches we visited. We caught the sunrise from Point Udall (maybe 5 minutes away? very close!) and hiked out to Isaacs Bay 2x, which was as beautiful as spot as we\'ve seen. Thanks for such a great week! Hope to be back sometime soon & to see how the island continues to recover from the hurricane.

Beautiful home with AMAZING views!


Thank you Celeste and Matt for such a wonderful experience. From the time we booked, you two have been so helpful. Especially since we booked soon after hurricane Maria. To give some background, this trip was to bring together two families - mine and my fiancé\'s. We have six children (ages 26-13) between us and this was our first family vacation. We couldn\'t have had a better home to enjoy! We booked this vacation not knowing if the island would be ready for tourists since the devastating storms. Celeste and Matt were so very helpful, even sending me updated photos of the property. The island is ready - especially the east end where we spent most of our time. This home is beautifully decorated and has the most amazing views. I know the pictures look incredible, but it\'s actually better in person. We rented the house and cottage which was a good size for all of us. The queen \"bedroom\" off the kitchen functions more like a den as it doesn\'t have a door so plan accordingly. The home is secluded and private and we felt completely safe. The great room and kitchen area could not be better - huge in size, great big dining table where we all could eat comfortably together and the kitchen was stocked with any pan or utensil we needed. The pool was beautiful and the patio area very spacious and comfortable. At night, the stars were so bright and clear - the best I\'ve seen. Thank you so very much for such an amazing time in this beautiful home!
