The old house was restored and expanded with a construction contemporary style that previligia natural light and exterior views beautiful, an interesting combination between the rustic and contemporary. The house has generous interior areas, with luxury finishes and is fully furnished with a tasteful decoration. The outdoor space is large and allows you to enjoy a swimming pool, sunbathing area, garden, barbecue and wood oven.

Perfect


The house is perfect. Location, equipment, comfort, we were fully satisfied. As for the landlord, Mr Nuno Ladeira, he was more than perfect : friendly, helpful, always available. Whoever decides to rent this wonderful villa will not be disappointed!

"We (the 4 adults) and es...


\"We (the 4 adults) and especially the children had an amazing time. The 3 year old \"cleaned\" the pool everyday and there was a lot of space for the 1 year old to crawl around. By moving some of the chairs in the living/seating room, we turned it into an amazing area with a lot of floor space to play on for the children and thanks to the very big sliding glass doors the adults had a great view with the pool, the mountains and the ocean in the back. We appreciated the kitchen layout a lot, since it is so open, that you can cook and chat with people on the porch or sitting at the table. Breakfast was always outside on the porch - a real treat! We \"only\" used the 3 bedrooms on the top floor, which offer plenty of space. The 3 year old even got his own room :-) So he would lie in bed at night and watch how the ocean went to sleep only to check next morning if the sun has reappeared behind the mountains. There is one more bedroom - it is more like an extra apartment outside, so you could take grandparents or somebody along who requires a bit more privacy. It also had a nice bath. Since the island is not to big and due to EU funding (lots of tunnels) you can get everywhere pretty fast and there is a lot to see and to do. Not sure if it is mentioned in the description, but they have Wifi, which makes organizing day trips very easy. A big thank you to the owners! It always fills my German heart with joy when somebody does a good job and they were soooo helpful! There was a little problem with the fridge and within a few hours they had only arranged for a technician but also brought an extra brand new fridge...sure enough the old one then worked again :-)\"
