We were met by Filomena who was lovely and bubbly, she showed us into the villa and the first thing you see is the amazing view from the patio, it really was breath taking. Lovely little touches sets this apart from other accommodation that we have stayed in. 2 beautiful vases of Birds of Paradise in the living/dining room, fresh cut flowers in the hallway. A welcome bottle of Maderia and two tiny glasses on the dining table. Bath robes on the bed. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The patio furniture was very comfortable and the gardens were amazing. The kitchen had everything we required. We had a problem with the internet which was sorted out immediately. Just couldn\'t fault it, just wonderful
\"We needed somewhere to stay at very short notice when our flight home was delayed by snow at Gatwick and the owner kindly allowed us the use of this charming apartment. She could not have been more helpful. It is set high above Funchal with wonderful views across the city even from inside the living room and the the bedrooms, as well as from its own terrace that runs all along that side. The weather was chilly and we were glad to be able to light the log fire in the evening. The living room is spacious yet cosy and has comfortable seating. The whole place is fully equipped and we very much enjoyed our stay. A car is desirable as the approach roads are steep and the centre of Funchal some distance away. There is a shared garden that would be very pleasant in good weather.\"
\"Our 1-week stay in this house was absolutely unforgettable! The view to Funchal bay is even more beautiful than on the pictures. Be ready for great sunsets. It is pretty close to Funchal (5 minutes by car), and a good starting point for sightseeing. The owner is so kind, she gives very good advice about what do see, what to do in Madeira. The house is very clean, ready to cook, to spend very good evenings and nights. So: just great!\"
