This two-villas Beach House overlooking the Caribbean Sea is just a few miles to the south of the friendly village of Hopkins Belize. Bringing together the best of two worlds, the owners combine the comfort and style with the natural exotic beauty of Belize. Each villa, adorned with hand crafted stain glass and rich mahogany woodwork, has a spacious living room with fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and a roomy bathroom with a large mosaic shower. The east-facing walls have large glass windows, keeping the sea always in view!. 
 
The ground floor villa, Shallow Waters has two bedrooms with queen size beds and a covered veranda facing the sea. The top floor villa Caribbean Breeze has one bedroom with queen size bed. The upstairs covered balcony commands amazing panoramic views of the ever changing sea. Amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, ceiling fans and all the comforts of home. You will feel here right at home with comfortable beds, air-conditioned rooms, large fully equipped kitchen and the laundry room which includes washer and drier!.
 
The resort area is minutes away with restaurants and bars and offers golf cart and kayak rentals. The village of Hopkins provides local charm, culture, food and music and the friendliest people on earth. Our property manager is licensed tour operator and can assist with arranging tours for all of Belize. Hike the jungle, engage the sea, climb a Mayan ruin. or watch the local birds, all from Shallow Bay Beach House.

Beautiful house in quiet and relaxing setting


If you are lucky, Steve and Rita will be in country when you arrive. They are as nice a couple as you will find. They helped us settle in and convinced and helped us get a rental car which allowed us to do many of our activities by ourselves instead of paying for expensive tours. The house is beautiful. It met all our needs and sits in a quiet and relaxing setting compared to most of the other lodging in Hopkins. We would recommend anyone going to Belize to check out availability at Shallow Bay before looking anywhere else. Definitely an excellent value for a great place to stay.

Great stay in Belize


Beautiful home with gorgeously landscaped lot on the Caribbean! The home was very clean, spacious and well appointed. Laundry room conveniently located with modern washer and dryer. Very private and quiet, but close to shopping and restaurants. Stay included free wifi, Air conditioned bedrooms, beautiful large bathroom and full kitchen with local water you could drink from the tap. Steady breeze off the ocean kept home cool, covered patio with hammock, outdoor eating area and steps from the ocean made this a perfect vacation spot. Great for romantic get away or family stay. Rita and Steve were great to work with, accessible and helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful house with all the modern necessities


An absolutely wonderful house located just a short drive from Hopkins. It was quiet with an incredible view of the ocean. The private deck was perfect for relaxing and sunning on. The house was immaculate with plenty of space and all the modern necessities (wi-fi, air conditioning etc). Would highly recommend staying here.
