This vacation rental home is located on North Captiva Island. Remote and undiscovered, North Captiva Island is accessible only by ferry, private boat or small plane. This private island community is reminiscent of old Florida as it once was during a simpler time. Just 3 miles off shore, this tropical paradise is part of the Lee Island Coast barrier island chain in South West Florida. Nearest airport to fly to would be in Fort Myers, Fl. Travel by golf cart or bicycle on our sandy native trails. Here, you will find no cars, no crowds or paved roads. North Captiva Island offers a small town impression with just enough amenities to suite your family needs.  Guest would have access to our club pools, hot tub, bikes, kayaks, tennis court, half basketball court, and beach chairs. This is a great, roomy house!


We spent one week in Junonia. We had a great time. House is clean, new, roomy, affordable house with a lot of privacy for each bedroom. We had found all necessary tools in the kitchen. Only dishwasher was rusty but was working properly. Also house location is excellent, maybe 3-5 minutes walk to a beautiful almost empty beach. House is surrounded by a lot of trees, so we practically did not see any neighbors. Yes, we recommend this house and we wish we could be back. Thank you!

Beautiful Home on Beautiful Island


Just returned from a week at the Junonia home on North Captiva Island and I wish that I had never left! The home was just as expected. Clean and well appointed.We enjoyed each having our own bedroom and bath. The screen in huge back porch was a bonus and most nights were spent there either relaxing or playing one of the board games that were available in the home. The front porch was the perfect spot for morning coffee. The island itself was a tropical paradise. We spent time at the pool, walking the beach and enjoying sunsets while searching for the perfect shell. We took out bikes, but went to the side of the island where the sand was deep - keep towards Barnacles side and you\'ll be fine! We never got to take kayaks out, but did rent a boat from Boats and Fun for the day....it was amazing!!! This property is not beach front, but this would not keep me from booking it again. It\'s location is perfect! Will look forward to returning in the future.

Property was very nice and roomy. Exceptionally clean, well stocked and beds were very comfortable.


We had a great time during our first visit to N. Captiva. The kids liked this island better than Little Gasperilla and my husband prefers fishing in that area. The people working on the island were all extremely friendly and on top of any issues we had.

Amazing Getaway!


My husband and I stayed here for a week. Another couple joined us for 4 nights. The home is beautiful and tastefully decorated. We didn\'t want to leave! The location is great. Only a few minute walk to the beach or the North Captiva Island Club pool/Mangos. We will be back! The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable and it was so nice to have the sliding patio doors on both sides of the room. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils-except for the can opener, but it did work, just not smoothly. Our only other negative was the gas grill was not working properly. We had asked for it to be fixed (heating element) or for a replacement, and did not receive during our stay. One thing we wished it had was a crows nest so we could see the beach.. Otherwise, super fantastic and would definitely stay here again!
