About Christine BeckI have spent the last 35 years restoring historic houses in Wilmington, so I have worked hard which I think has given me an appreciation for my time 'not on the job'. I love going to the beach early, meeting friends with coffee, and soaking it in before the day begins. I am involved with a Contra-Dance group and I call dances. I am a fan of old-time fiddle and blue-grass. I have traveled all over the world--China, Peru, Crete--and enjoy living near the water and kayaking, sitting on my porch, and reading--whatever. As a host, I hope I am accommodating, but distant in a way that assures privacy and still makes my guests feel welcome.Christine Beck purchased this Cottage in 1992Why Christine Beck chose Historic DistrictThis property is walking distant to all the downtown restaurants and live theater.

My favorite trip of my life!!! Wilmington was so amazing!

We loved the c. Parker cottage... it was so cozy & relaxing! Was in a great location... we really enjoyed the proximity to the river walk & all the night life! Was truly one of the most fun, relaxing, memorable vacations we have ever had... we could have stayed forever! I want to retire there someday! Loved every minute!????

Clean and we'll equipped. Loved the house with all the nooks and crannies.

The porch with the rockers was so relaxing. When not busy I sat there and read books. It is close to everything and well decorated by the owner. Would love to stay again.

Clean, cozy, and quaint house in historic neighborhood

Christine\'s house was clean and efficient for all of our needs. The location was great and she even called to make sure we did not lose our parking spot due to the 4th of July crowds. We would definitely stay again and probably return in cooler weather. The A/C kept up with the heat especially for an older home. This house felt like home away from home and met all of our needs. There were even beach chairs for use although most beaches are about 25 minutes or more drive away. It was worth staying here away from the beach crowd. The walk to the Riverfront is very accessable and we felt safe in the downtown area.

My stay was lovely!

I loved the cottage and all the nice appointments throughout! Chris thought of everything including beach chairs that she personally delivered! I enjoyed the wraparound porch in the mornings and the back porch in late afternoons! The neighbors were friendly and made me feel welcomed for the month I stayed! Looking forward to my visit next year! Thank you Chris!

Amazing House!

Stayed for a month. A/C was outstanding keeping up with the hot temperatures at the time. Loved that I could walk down to the \"Riverwalk\" with all the restaurants and shops and the \"sunset.\" Owner very accommodating. Addressed all my questions and concerns (my first time in NC) and made my stay more comfortable. Thanks Christine!
