Great 1920s A frame cabin

Great 1920s A frame cabin. Very cozy in a very quiet lovely neighborhood that is within minutes of everything in Big Bear Lake. Only problem was with the previous occupant leaving food garbage in a can outside (big no no, it\'s called big Bear for a reason) but it was resolved within a few minutes as they sent someone to collect it. Loved it

great stay close to the heart of the village and ski areas

nice stay ! we were 4 , and i t was up to what we expected ! the place deserved slightly more light however.

Cozy and basic, but quirky

I\'ve stayed at a lot of cabins in Big Bear over the last 20 years, so this review is from the perspective of experience. Cute exterior on a nice lot with fenced-in back yard and deck in quiet neighborhood - would be great for snow play when there\'s snow. But there are some quirks that should be considered before booking. The heater has no thermostat and is located in the main bedroom, which means if you want to heat the cabin that door must be left open - it pings and groans all night long, so light sleepers beware. Also, one bedroom does not have a door and is directly attached to living room, so you may encounter issues with privacy and hanging out in the living area after bedtime. There are no dressers or closet space, and very little room to store food and groceries, so longer stays could be challenging. Both beds are right next to the shared bathroom\'s doors, which creates an \"intimate\" experience for both occupants that some may find unpleasant. There is a small leather couch and no other comfortable seating, so don\'t plan on snuggling up with the family for movie night. However, if you\'re just looking for a convenient place to crash and want close access to the east Summit Lot, it\'s worth considering.

Good vacation

Good. Clean and quiet. For a last minute vacation, it was excellent
