Location, Location, Location. Centrally located home close to it all in Mount Dora. This 3 bedroom/2 bath house provides you with the comforts of home. 
 
You can't come to Mount Dora without going into town to shop, dine or enjoy the night life. Enjoy an easy 5-7 minute walk into town where no car is necessary. 
 
This beautiful house offers a stunning living room that contains a recliner, chairs, couch and  LCD TV. The separate dining room hosts a table that can seat 6. 
 
Step outside to the front porch and relax while in a rocking chair or the porch swing. 
 
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, microwave and everything you could possible need except the food. 
 
The master bedroom includes a king size bed, dressers and TV. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, dresser, TV. The third bedroom includes a trundle bed that sleeps two and a dresser.
 
Dogs under 15 pounds are welcome. Pet fee is $50 per dog. Sorry no cats.

Although we use to live in Orlando, we always wanted to move to Mt. Dora. With the purchase of a vacation home (Park Cottage) in 2011 and visiting the town on the weekends we soon decided to move to this delightful little town in 2012. With that move came another house for us to renovate, (Beehive Cottage) then about a year later we purchased our third home (Rocking Chair Cottage). Although Mt Dora has a small town feel, that has been frozen in time, within 2 miles from the heart of town are all the modern restaurants, grocery stores and shops. We love to visit the light house for Sunset and its always so nice to be able to walk into town and not have to worry about parking. We now live just a mile from all of our beautiful homes and are available for any assistance you may need.We love to shop and dine in downtown Mt Dora and it wouldnt be unusual to run into us if your there. Dont hesitate to contact us for the best kept secrets of town.Wendy Appleby purchased this House in 2013

We absolutely loved our recent trip to Mt Dora


Our recent trip to Mt Dora was awesome. The town and place were perfect. Wendy was super helpful with recommendations and ease of checkin. The place was exactly what we were looking for and very close to the historic downtown area. We will definitely be back.

A lovely home very close to everything downtown.


Six of us stayed at the Rocking Chair Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This home has more supplies stocked than the average rental home and it is cozy, decorated tastefully and is in a quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend staying there when visiting quaint Mt. Dora.

Cozy and Convenient


3 easy blocks to historic Mount Dora, only a 5 minute walk. Off street parking. With a split BR plan and two full baths we had plenty of room for 5 adults and one baby to spend the night. The kitchen is fully equipped but we chose to eat out most of the time. We also hosted a family gathering with 3 additional adults and another child in the generous living room. Everyone was very comfortable and happy to be together for the New Year holiday.

Nice place! Loved the front porch and private back yard


It was perfect for our family. We loved the location, a quiet neighborhood . Mount Dora is such a fun town and the Christmas lights were awesome!! Wendy was so kind and let our daughter bring her dog the last minute. We would definitely stay there again! This was our first VRBO experience and it was great. Thank you!
