Description

Oceanaire is a first class vacation home directly on the Atlantic Ocean beach near Governor's Harbor, Eleuthera. This custom built home under went a total renovation inside and outside in 2017 and features two master suites with fantastic views from every room. The location is only four miles from Governor's Harbor Airport and the closest neighbors are more than a one-quarter mile away. 
 
Covered verandahs with comfortable teak furniture and an open sundeck overlooking the pink sand beach provide shade and sun worshippers equal opportunity to relax and enjoy the serenity of Oceanaire.
 
The kitchen is outfitted to please a gourmet chef, including dozens of spices and a propane barbecue on the screened verandah and dining area. The living areas inside and out are comfortably furnished with Sunbrella fabric cushions, including a teak double chaise lounge on the verandah that is a favorite and very romantic spot for guests.
 
The pink sand beach is secluded and runs for miles in both directions. Coral heads a few hundred feet offshore provide lobster and fish for dinner for the intrepid snorkeler.
 
Oceanaire now has hi-speed wifi Internet access throughout the house and on the verandahs and DirecTV with all the movie channels.

If I were to try to envision the ideal beach house, it would be very hard to improve upon Oceanaire.


Oceanaire is amazing. It has everything one looks for in a vacation home. At no time during our 2 week stay did we find ourselves saying \"if only it had ...\" or \"if this were my place, I\'d ...\". The location is close enough to town for convenience, but far enough away for privacy. The home itself is clean, modern, ideally laid out, and extremely well equipped. Patrick was extremely responsive to any questions we had, and it\'s obvious that they\'re proud of their creation of this little slice of paradise (and rightfully so). It\'s by far the best vacation rental we\'ve experienced. Browsing through the entries in the guestbooks at Oceanaire, we\'re obviously not alone in this sentiment.

PERFECT


Stayed at Oceanaire for the second time. We were the first to stayed at the updated home. Pat and Linda have updated this property perfectly. The new screened veranda was perfect, roomy with fans, chairs, table and a day bed. The living room has been updated and the new TV and sonos sound system were awesome. (Be sure to download the sonos app) The kayak was more accessible by being located on the beach and secured by rope and pulley system. The kitchen was well equipped with all essentials. The reef in front of the house was perfect for snorkeling at low tide for beginners. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS RENTAL. Will be back to Oceanaire in the summer.

Everything and more


Linda and Patrick have done it again. They provide one of the cleanest, most modern, well equipped house on the island. My wife and I traveled with another couple for our 2nd trip to Oceanaire. We stayed back in 2010 and the house in 2016 is just as good if not better. We enjoyed the serenity of a nearly deserted beach and shade on the large wrap around porch. The house is well stocked with everything a gourmet cook would need including spices. The furniture is beautiful and comfortable and not something you normally find in a rental vacation home. Beach chairs for travel, soft towels, video and book library, snorkel gear, and anything else you can think of for a beach vacation. Thank you again to the owners for providing such a wonderful oasis in the garden of Eden.

Outstanding Home


Oceanaire is truly and outstanding rental property. We just returned from 7 glorious days on Eleuthera and can\'t say enough about what a quality rental Oceanaire is. The home is perfectly situated just 4 miles from the airport of Governors Harbour (yet you hear no planes). It is located central to so many area attractions making coming and going to explore the island very easy. The home is located on a bluff that overlooks the most amazing atlantic ocean we have ever seen. Every day we enjoyed watching the colors of the water change and the sun and skies changed. It was amazing. The home is very, very clean. Tastefully decorated with high end items from Pottery Barn, Pier 1 and Pampered Chef. Everything, I mean everything, has been thought of and included to make your stay easy and enjoyable. There are spices, coffee filters, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, washer/dryer, countless books, videos and music CD\'s, numerous shower towels and beach towels, shampoo and soap, paper products, binoculars, telescope, WiFi, A/C, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, reef shoes, snorkel gear a kayak! You name it and Oceanaire has thought of it and provided it for your use. It was truly fantastic to have everything we wanted/needed at our fingertips. We could literally have packed a swim suit and cover up and been set for the week! We can\'t say enough about the views from the wrap around patio. Just stunning! We loved snorkeling right out front of the house seeing beautiful fish, stingrays and coral in terrific shape. High tide provided you with wonderful gentle blue water and just the right amount of waves. Low tide changed the topography totally and provided you with access to a fantastic snorkeling reef. We even used the kayak which was tons of fun and much easier to get up and down the steps then we had imagined. Overall, there isn\'t anything I would change about Oceanaire. It is a fantastic rental. If your stuck on which house or where to stay, Oceanaire gets my vote!

Everything we could hope for!


I have read the reviews, and the only thing I can add is that NO words can adequately describe Oceanaire. It truly is the most amazing vacation home we have ever experienced (...we have been using vacation homes for years!) To give you an idea of how much we loved it, we are going back again this year! This will be our very first time to return to a place. We usually love to go see and experience more, different places, but Oceanaire is so perfect for us, that we need look no further! THANK you, Pat and Linda for sharing your wonderful home! We can\'t wait to be back!
