Description

This luxury furnished home with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean is located on a pristine pink sandy beach.  The secluded beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, lobstering, spear fishing, strolling, and beachcombing .  
 
Jolly Mon's main floor has a British Colonial decor with a master bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, kitchen, with top of the line appliances, great room, and veranda.   The great room features a flat panel TV and stereo system with iPod docking for music to be enjoyed throughout the home and veranda.   Wireless internet,  and satellite TV are provided, air conditioning is available, although the ocean breeze flows through the home because of the elevation and not only keeps it cool but allows you to enjoy the sounds of the ocean.  
 
The loft area has a separate bedroom with a king size bed, a sitting area and office area and a full spa bathroom, with dual sinks, shower and a spa tub that has elevated, breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
 
There is a nautical decorated studio on the lower floor with a private entrance, queen bed, futon, kitchen area, and bathroom with shower.  The studio may be rented with the main house. 
 
Panoramic views of the Atlantic from every room and the expansive veranda. 
 
Jolly Mon is located on a 2.5 acre estate lot on North Shore Dr. (Old Banks Road)  in North Palmetto Point.  This magical place is only 10 minutes south of Governor's Harbour and 25 minutes south of GHB airport and 45 minutes north of RKS airport. You are centrally located on this 110 mile long island which makes exploring very convenient.  You will enjoy some of the best beaches in the Caribbean and be able to take your pick between watching a sunrise or a sunset!   
 
There are many wonderful restaurants on the island and are provided in our guest book.   If you like to cook in a gourmet kitchen, you can buy fresh fish every day at the harbour dock.

Idyllic Vacation


We had an idyllic vacation. Jolly Mon is a wonderful Villa on a prime location, with high quality furnishings. While the waves on the beach were gentle, it was nice to hear them through the open balcony doors at night. It was really relaxing to find so many beaches with so few people. We definitely plan on returning.

Beautiful holiday at Jolly Mon - April 2018


We had a wonderful ten-night stay at the Jolly Mon and cannot recommend it higher. The home is very well appointed and comfortable, decorated in a calming, tropical and beachy atmosphere. Our group was eight adults so rented the house and the suite. We honestly had the most incredible time, the location was perfect and central for day trips to either the north or south of the island and we did a few both directions including a day to Harbour Island. As well, the beach right down the steps from the house was lovely. Rarely saw another person on the beach so felt entirely private. Perfect for morning walks, swimming and hanging out. This is a beautiful beach house set ideally amongst palms and other foliage giving you amazing views down to the blues of the Atlantic. Has all the comforts of home; cable tv for watching in the evening, well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms with lots of hot water. Sleep was never an issue between the comfy beds, the sound of the waves below and days spent in the sun and water. Bonus of two heated outdoor showers to rinse away the sand after a day at the beach. As well, the beach supplies of chairs, loungers, hammock, kayaks and paddleboard were well used. Honestly, worst part of holiday was last day knowing it was over. Loved everything and would definitely return. Jane and Scott are incredibly gracious and informative. This was our first visit to the island of Eleuthera and our stay at Jolly Mon made it fun and relaxed. I truly miss it already and felt so at home. Thinking of taking some decorating tips from Jane and Scott in a room or two to keep the vacation feeling alive. Thank you so very much for sharing this piece of paradise.

We had a wonderful stay at Jolly Mon. Jane and Scott helped us with every detail from boogie boards for grandchildren to car rentals. The house is beautiful with easy access to a stunning beach. We will be returning!

Perfect Island Getaway?????


Let me start by saying if you are looking for a place with all the comforts of home, the beach just steps away and some of the most perfect sunrises ever you\'ve found it. Beyond the travel related problems due to the glass window bridge being closed, our vacation was perfect! We arrived 2 days late due to some northeastern storms and found the Glass Window Bridge to be closed. Our car was not there to meet us at the North Eleuthera airport, however the locals were amazing helping, us get where we needed to go. Taxi 99 took us to a local reasturant and held up a boat that was kind enough to ferry us to Gregory Town. Once there more locals helped us get in contact with our car rental agent to get a new vehicle we were able to access from that side of the island. Once we finally got going we arrived at the house to meet Jane. Due to storm surges, the Atlantic Ocean was not safe for swimming. Jane was so nice, waited for us to get ready and took us to a local swimming spot on the Bahamien side of the island. The water was so crystal clear, warm and calm. Our party of five spent 5 amazing nights at the Jolly Mon and we can not wait to return. I would recommend staying here and being up in the mornings for the sunrises. Good places to eat would be the 1648 restaurant and The Buccaneers Club.
