Living room down-filled sofa is wonderful for TV viewing with Cable TV, DVR and a movie library. There is also a 4-shelf bookcase providiing readiing material. Unlike most STR's that provide limited kitchen amenities for meal preparation, this kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, silver and basic spices plus sugar, flour etc. The kitchen area also provides a desk, printer, high-speed fiber internet and basic office supplies. There is a lovely private patio with a fountain, glass top table w/four swivel chairs plus two comfy arm-chairs with ottmans, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing. But the best benefit this rental provides is weekly maid service which is included in the rental price, making this a spectacular value. The property is conveniently located near the intersection of the 210-East FWY and the 605-South FWY providing easy access within 1-2 hours of the beaches, mountains, and most tourist attractions in LA and Orange Counties. Owner does not accept rental for less than 30-days!!..
I purchased this property and the home next door while my son was attending Cal State Fullerton. The rental on the other house covered my mortgage on both properties eliminating the need for student housing. During the past 16-years, both my son and daughter have resided in both properties. I am only 10 to 15 minutes from the City of Hope. Patients come from all over the US for bone marrow transplants and other treatment options. It is required that they reside near the hospital for several months after they have been released from the hospital and find this to be the perfect place to recuperate. I have also hosted parents who live outside of Southern California visiting their children and grandchildren during the holidays. It is also the perfect spot for "Snow-Birds" who want to escape the harsh winters in the mid-west or on the East coast. I have also hosted couples and small families (2-children only) who are moving to California and need temporary housing prior to finding a permanent residence. I also consider short-term rentals for business travelers (one-month minimum stay) who prefer all the comforts of home at a price far below that of a hotel.Susan Ratliff

Very cute cottage feel, comfortable bed & linens. Big refrigerator, nice stove & microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. Bathroom a little tight and maybe too much furniture in living room. TV kept my husband happy!
