Any closer and I would be in heaven" is the wooden sign that hangs outside The Beach House. The interiors reflect island life with island style, a mixture of the old and new. Original one-of-a-kind pieces adorn this wonderful beach home. Vaulted ceilings, glass doors that step out onto a fabulous (and enormous) deck, and a view of the most breathtaking pink-sand beach lends itself to the ultimate island getaway. Step off the deck onto the amazing beach and walk into the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
 
The Beach House is located directly on French Leave Beach, a mile-long crescent of pink sand that has been ranked top 20 in the world. It is located on the prestigious Banks Road of Governors Harbour, the premier location on Eleuthera. The town of Governors Harbour, with restaurants, groceries stores, shops, and banks, is only a mile away.
 
The Beach House has just been totally renovated (work completed in August of 2016). A mixture of modern and rustic beach living is the decor and theme throughout. Concrete counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a double commercial sink are part of the modern and well equipped kitchen. The dining table built from reclaimed island wood comfortably seats eight with additional seating for four at the kitchen island. The living area with its white couches and hand-crafted island straw mats looks out through a wall of glass onto the deck and French Leave Beach beyond. Relax outside on the swinging day beds or sip a drink at the outdoor bar.
 
The Beach House has three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have king beds with ocean and beach views. The third bedroom has a queen bed with a tropical garden view. The house is fully air conditioned and every room has ceiling fans.
 
The large outdoor deck is the perfect place to watch the sunrise in the morning, sunbathe through the day, or enjoy a relaxing, tranquil afternoon. Equipped with a full-size bar, gas grill, and dining and lounging spaces, it is the ultimate getaway.
 
With its vast veranda, outdoor bar, and direct beachfront location, the Beach House is ideal for hosting weddings and other events. Additional charges may apply for events.
 
Amenities at The Beach House include air conditioning throughout, wifi, satellite tv, a washer and dryer, two kayaks, a paddle board, and a gas grill.

The Beach House on French Leave Beach.


We had a wonderful vacation on Eleuthera. Having never been on this island before much was new. The many beaches were as advertised, powdery sand, miles long and very few other visitors. It was a short walk or drive to the village of Governor\'s Harbour where we could purchase supplies. There were several restaurants nearby that served excellent Bahamian fare often accompanied by live music. It was exactly the low key slow paced experience hat we were looking for.

Fantastic in every way!


beautiful place in a beautiful location. Close to town. Michelle the property owner is super helpful! I cannot say enough good things about this House/beach. House is well equipped with everything you need. We cooked meals here easily. Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious. The beach had a covered area and beach chairs. Sand was soft and water was very refreshing and clear. Highly recommend.
