Our Soleil Apartment is a beautiful one bedroom Oceanfront Apartment situated in hip and happening neighborhood of Pietermaai. Imagine yourself sitting on the balcony with a stunning view of the ocean or on the private beach area. If you're lucky you can even see dolphins splashing around.
 
You enter the apartment from the big balcony into the living room. The Kitchen is fully equipped for all you needs, including a washing machine. The bedroom has a great bed and adjoining is the bathroom.

The space
We are located in a trendy up coming neighborhood. When leaving the premisses you will find the best restaurants and hippest bars within a 5-10 minute walk.
The apartment is located in an old colonial building which has been renovated in 2012. The characteristics that makes the building unique have been well kept. Great balcony with a ocean view. What makes our place unique is the fact that we have a private beach area for our guests to enjoy. By a wooden stair you can enter our tiding pool and go for some great snorkeling. You won't be disappointed.
 
Ofcourse there is also free Wifi available.
Every 4 days our cleaning staff will come by for a touch up and to change the towels. If you'd like a daily cleaning, this could also be arranged on request (extra payment)
 
Guest access
This apartment has its own private entry. The premises is oceanfront and has its own private beach which is shared with the guests of the other 3, 1 bedroom apartments on the premises.
 
Interaction with guests
We are always open for any request and we are here to make your vacation the best!
 
Other things to note
Just around the corner you will find many restaurants, bars and cafe's to cater to all your wishes. Downtown "Punda and Otrabanda" is a 10 minute walk.
 
We recommend you rent a car to see all the great places Curacao had to offer. But if you prefer not to rent a car, there is more then enough to enjoy in the area. Within a few walking minutes you will find two private beaches.
 
Just around the corner there is also a bus station where you can find a bus that brings you to the Mambo or Jan Thiel area.
 
Our apartment has an electrical Pagatinu a prepaid electrical system that we will put in Naf 15.00 on arrival. This might scare you but its a very easy system. Its very easy to buy and upload the necessary amount. We will be available any time to assist you.

Great


Curacao is all about colours and music, Don’s place is all that!!! It is close to best restaurants and music bars around (mind you, I toured around the island!), I was so lucky also that during our 6 day stay there was a Blue and Sea Festival, just a block away! Incredible social life, young and older, all sharing great time, beer, beautiful evenings by the sea, and music and dance. Don ‘s place is right overlooking the sea, its lovely terrace provided us with some relaxing views, there was always a little fishing boat rocking on the waves. Still, since I like to shop, Don’s place is just close by to the attractive Princess Emma bridge, and all the little stores, of varying prices and qualities. As far as amenities is concerned, Don provided us with the essentials, the electricity consumption is measured by a meter and it depends on your rational usage. We bought a 10 US card, and really it was more than enough for our stay. That is also true for water. It feels good to be conscious about usage. I recommend this lovely and simple loft, it is clean, well kept, silent, and it has an envious location. Don and Noemi are wonderful hosts.

Great Location


Don and his wife are fantastic hosts! And Suzanne\'s assistance with booking and recommendations for rental cars and supermarkets came in super handy. All were highly responsive when we had questions, and when our flight plans / check-in times changed less than 24 hours in advance. The space is clean, right on the water, and is very secure. Within walking distance to Punda, Otrabanda, and of course all the good restaurants in Pietermaai! If you plan to see the island at all, definitely consider a rental car. Suzanne has some great recommendations of local rental companies that are honest and reliable. Would HIGHLY recommend Don\'s place to anyone looking to stay in Pietermaai. This was out first time visiting Curacao, and we can\'t wait to return.

If you are thinking of staying in Pietermaai area, stay here. Penthouse by the sea with own private beach in decent rate is a jackpot. Great host also included. Highly recommened.

Fantastic apartment with excellent balcony


Fantastic apartment with excellent balcony overlooking the see on a great location! You will not find better in Pietermaai. Walking distance to the center, shops and market. We stayed two great weeks in the apartment, had a car for 5 days to explore the island, otherwise enjoyed good restaurants around (try watermelon salad at Scuba Lodge), went for a short swim in front of the apartment or took small buses that frequently stop in front of Saint Tropez Ocean Club to Mambo Beach (3 Guilders per person). Wonderful apartment if you want to combine both city and beach! Best of all - Don was a great friendly host, gave good tips. Responded to each small question in less than 15 minutes. We highly recommend the apartment and the host!

The place: Beautiful


The place: Beautiful, convenient location to all places on the island, clean, safe, comfortable and with all needed amenities included. It is way hipper than the mega resorts and much more quiet. The price cannot be beat, and it’s just a bit more private than those other boutique resorts with the same access to everything you could hope for. The ocean dipping pool is brilliant. The hosts: Don and Suzanne were responsive and helpful from my very first outreach, even answering all of my persnickety questions very, very quickly. They were warm, helpful and so available while we were in Curaçao as well. Summary: Just book this place! You won’t be disappointed.
