Bedroom 2 has a queen sized bed and bedroom 3 may be configured as a king or 2 twin beds. Additionally, the den has a full sized futon. Cooks kitchen with all top of the line appliances. Plenty of personal space around the house for everyone and the outdoors is magnificent. Outdoors wraps around front and side of house where there are 2 large tables for enjoying your meals. The front of house has beautiful seating areas and is completely secluded for complete privacy. Outdoor shower for easy access when returning from beach. The house has an attached garage for 2 cars with laundry.
Additionally 14% transient occupancy taxes on rental fee and 3% creedit card fee. Guest has the option to send check or wire funds in lieu of paying 3% credit card fee. $1000 refundable security deposit due at time of reservation. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
We\'re not frequent AIRBNB users, but experiences such as this give us more confidence in the service. Everything was on point, the house was perfect for our needs - a family of 5 including a rambunctious two year old boy - plus two grandparents. We had every intention of exploring LA with more packed agendas, but why? Just hang in Venice, walk around the neighborhood and Abbott Kinney, eat at wonderful restaurants a stone\'s throw away, and chill at the beach. We can\'t say enough about our stay at The Canals House. Thank you!

We rent multiple homes a year for our various family trips. We also have a few rental properties ourselves. Because of this, I really do my due diligence when selecting a home to rent during our vacation. They met up with me upon arrival to give me a tour of the home (nice touch). The location was 1 block from the beach. Great thing was that it was a bit south from the main Venice beach, so the area right in front of the house, is less crowded which was great for our family. We were walking distance to many restaurants/bars/boardwalk. The backyard was a nice perk. The weather was great during our stay, so we utilized the backyard and BBQ multiple days. Home has a nice 60\" TV, which is always nice. There are a lot of stairs (from garage to main floor, then another set to the bedrooms). Beds were comfortable, bathrooms very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and will be back later in the year.
Phyllis was fantastic to deal with. We were met by Stephen to show us around the house, he was waiting for us on arrival. The house is just as the photos show but better. We stayed 5 nights, family of three couples from Noosa Australia. King beds in each room. Fantastic location. View of Venice Canals (one house away) and Hollywood sign from main bedroom balcony. One block from Venice Beach. There are bikes and beach towels for use. We rode to Santa Monica, walked to Abbot Kinney Boulevard (awesome shops and cafes), walked to Marina Del Ray, great shopping centres and two Ralphs supermarkets...Ubered home with the shopping. Santa Monica Shopping is a short uber away. We cooked breakfast each morning on the huge gas stove. Ate at some amazing restaurants. The house felt like our home. You will love it too.
