Strategic location for visits to Seward, very cozy and relaxing cabin, with everything you need


The cabin is truly nice. Situated on a hill with dense woods, it gives you a feeling of being in the wild a lot more than the photos suggest. The owners probably see a lot of bears and moose. The lawn was picture perfect (we stayed in July), with wood provided for the fire pit. The cabin is very cozy and functional, with wooden interior and all amenities. The owner (Henry) has given every thought to make you welcome. There was bottled water in the fridge, cooking necessities, even two bear sprays for safer hiking. We had a truly enjoyable time. Would stay there anytime, and would recommend it to all my friends.

Henry is a great host and the house had a great Alaskan cottage feel to it. Would stay here again.

Henry\'s home had anything and everything you could ask for. AAA batteries, BBQ grill, Bon Fire pit, fishing treble hooks and best of all BEAR SPRAY. Henry has thought of everything. The only thing was we thought we were staying on the lake. At the end it did not matter and Henry\'s establishment still deserves the 5 stars
