This magical villa offers the perfect combination of privacy, comfort and proximity to the town of Cabrera. The Seadog Inn is a truly tropical island setting offering its own small private beach, unique swimming pool and spacious accommodations.
 
The Seadog is an airy 5 bedroom / 4 bathroom oceanfront vacation villa overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on a pristine cove. Our multi-language staff is there to assist you in every way you desire from fully cooked gourmet meals, local cuisine or complete privacy, your choice. At your request we'll bring in live music with bachata dance lessons or clear out the house and leave you alone to sunbath and swim. We also encourage you to try the local restaurants, they are both fun to visit and enjoyable to try.
 
The Villa faces eastwardly to capture and allow you to enjoy the soothing trade winds and natural breezes. To supplement the winds, The Seadog has also Air-condition in each room to keep you much more cooler.
 
Our patio bar (The BoneBar) quickly becomes the gathering place at The Seadog. The bar itself is framed with humpback whale bones collected by local fishermen from the Atlantic Ocean as they washed ashore. Outdoor seating and lounging areas add to the comfort and create a perfect area for cocktails, napping and reading.
 
Cabrera has everything close by from waterfalls to a historic lighthouse or natural crystal clear lakes. The beaches are fabulous and plentiful! There are enough unique local bars and restaurants to add an extra dimension to your Dominican experience. We'll supply you a guide or you can be your own.
 
What makes this property even more remarkable, starting in late January, the humpback whales are migrating to their mating grounds right in our own backyard. These magnificent creatures are visible to the naked eye as the splash their way along the coast.

Perfect Oceanside Villa - also affordable


The Seadog Inn is has a amazing view of the ocean as it sits at the center of a cove. The wave action is spectacular and will take away all the stress that you brought with you to this piece of paradise. We were fortunate enough to see whales this trip as they migrate this time of year. Can\'t say enough about Julia and her staff. She is a great host with a bright smile and is a \"subject matter expert\" on Cabrera and the north cost. She answered all our questions and is very creative when it comes to a food plan. Make sure you have Maximo cut down a coconut and make you a rum drink!

Family Vacation!!


We spent a week at the Seadog Inn which was absolutely perfect. We were a family of seven adults, the house was awesome with enough room for each of us to have private time if we wanted it. The view from the house was breathtaking, we were fortunate enough to see plenty of whales from the pool, which was awesome. Chester, the owner was helpful from beginning to end. The house staff were wonderful and always cheerful and kind. Maximo was always there for us if we had any needs. The only kind I can say it was absolutely perfect!!! We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Chester and his staff for the great experience.

A wonderful destination


I would highly recommend the Sea Dog Inn to all! The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. There is plenty of room to accommodate multiple people. Entertaining is made easy thanks to a backyard bar and refreshing pool that has a breathtaking ocean view. Located in Cabrera, visitors can enjoy true Dominican culture. A short drive away is lake dudu, Playa Grande, and Playa Entrada just to name a few beautiful and fun locations to visit during your stay. Experience the beautiful Dominican at the Sea Dog Inn.

A Beautiful Stay


We had an amazing stay at the Sea Dog Inn with family and friends. It\'s secluded setting offers privacy, comfort and beautiful views of the ocean outside the safe town of Cabrera. We enjoyed socializing with the locals, and there are many affordable activities nearby. The house offers convenient amenities as well. The pool, private beach access, and Sea Dog Bar only compliment the house! Overall, it was a memorable stay not to be forgotten. I would recommend this to friends and go again!
