Located in the heart of Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, come see for yourself why so many guests tell us how pleasantly surprised they were with the convenience and beauty of our location. We are near-ocean, not ocean-front but also not just resort-oriented because we are so close to the beach. A seven minute walk from our front door and your feet are in the sand.
 
The General Store (most guests end up LOVING the proximity to this) is a minute's walk for newspaper, coffee, hot breakfast, lunch, forgotten items, ice cream, souvenirs and some grocery items. Robert Trent Jones Golf Course is a three minute walk and the world-ranked Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center is a two minute walk. And of course the beach is really close too...a seven minute stroll.
 
This unit is situated perfectly for privacy with convenience as it is extremely close to many venues, yet it is private and secluded among the scenic live oak and palmetto trees.

FURNISHINGS:
From the minute you enter this one-level, private unit you'll feel at home with the warm and inviting colors and decorations, which are neutral and designed to reflect the natural colors on the beach. From the elegant master bedroom to the whimisical 'Lighthouse' card table, you'll realize you've made a great destination decision.
 
UNIT FEATURES:
This villa features vaulted and beamed ceiling over 20 feet high, ceramic tile and hardwood floors with quality rugs, maple kitchen cabinetry with stainless appliances, and new bathrooms with furniture vanities. This villa also has three sliding glass doors leading onto the back patio where you can enjoy what the Lowcountry is famous for: magnificent, sprawling, grand oak trees draped with spanish moss and plentiful palmettos.
 
KITCHEN:
The furnished kitchen (should you want to cook) features a full-size stainless refrigerator with an ice maker, oven with smooth top range, a built in microwave, and a dishwasher. We also have all the cookware, baking and serving dishes (complete set for 12 of oversized earthenware) you'll need in addition to the plastics you'll want for beach and pool days. And we have a great assortment of glasses to meet all your drink-serving needs. More detailed info below.
 
DINING ROOM:
The dining room now opens to the kitchen and family room and hosts a table that easily accommodates 8 adults with additional seating for four at the built-in bar. Come dinner time, you'll run out of guests or family members before you run out of seating! There's also a chic china cabinet that houses a set of champagne glasses and some antique white serving dishes you're welcome to enjoy.
 
LIVING ROOM:
The living room (600 sq. ft.) features a full size butter-leather sofa, loveseat, oversized chair and matching ottoman. The sturdy wooden coffee table is perfect for kicking up your feet or a resting place for your refreshments. Placed against the wall behind the sofa, there's a whimsical hand-painted 'lighthouse' card table with matching chairs and an additional loveseat that opens to make a child's bed.
 
Of course we have wireless internet and local phone service. We also keep a few books handy along with a large set of child's building blocks and a game console with about 15 games in case of a rainy day. Two 8 ft. slider doors open onto the river-rock back patio and showcases the wooded resort view of palmetto trees and massive oaks.
 
MASTER SUITE:
The master bedroom features a comfortable, plush king size bed with a Tempur-Pedic top and an ottoman bench at the foot. Soft colors with neutral tones are used to help create a pleasing ambiance for the end of the day. Another 8 ft. slider glass door leads to the patio and frames the canopy of trees and wildlife living there. An LCD TV is mounted to the wall between two 7 ft. mirrored closet slider doors, and a full size dresser with mirror is on the adjacent wall. This spacious room also boasts an upholstered chair for additional comfort. The golden ash hardwood floors are partially covered with a warm textured rug. The master suite has private access to the master bath.
 
We are handicap friendly, although not fully handicap accessible.

Although I grew up on Hilton Head Island (in Sea Pines), I've never lived there since. We have traveled over much of the world now and realize what a special 'backyard' we've always enjoyed. As our family grew and the kids started begging to return to the beach where could ride their bikes, we knew we had to buy our second home on the island. We all love it so much and are sure you will want to return just as we do!Telie White purchased this villa in 2005

Fantastic villa & location!


My family stayed in this villa last July. We had a wonderful stay!! This house is just steps from the Palmetto Dunes General Store, which was a great place to grab a quick bite for breakfast or lunch or a cool treat after a day in the sun. While the exterior of the units is aging, the interior of this villa has been updated recently with an open kitchen & living area. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us to spread out! We used the shuttle several times to help tote all of our gear to the beach, but it wasn\'t far at all to walk. Having gear available with the rental was huge!! That saved us packing space and money. All in all, we had a phenomenal stay, and we would return in a heartbeat!!

Cozy Queen's Grant Villa of Perfection Just Steps From the Beach!


Outstanding villa that was so warm and welcoming to me and my family of four. Kitchen is stocked and the family room is beyond comfortable. Perfect for lounging. The patio is perfectly private and also stocked with everything you would need for the beach. HOWEVER, sometimes dragging everything to the beach can be somewhat of an actual drag so this week (our fourth in Hilton Head) we opted to rent a set up at the beach. It was around $120 for the week but money well spent because the umbrella never blows away and the chairs are waiting for you every day from 9 to 5. Regardless, Telie provides everything needed for a fantastic stay at the beach. There is also a quiet pool located right around the corner and of course, THE GENERAL STORE! We couldn\'t be happier with our experience. Thank you Telie!
