Description

NEW this year....fiber optic Internet!! Ocean breezes flow through this spacious home. Surrounded by trees, this house sits on the first bluff above the Pacific Ocean; it is an easy 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach and another short walk to town center. There you will find a fresh vegetable market, grocery stores, many restaurants, and tour guides.

The bedrooms at Casa Limon Dulce are large; two king and one queen. Each bedroom has individual air conditioning or transom ventilation, and plenty of space for reading, writing, or that necessary quiet time. A small library contains a writing desk and a comfortable day-bed.

The over-size kitchen has a large mahogany center island to gather around. At one end of the island is a five burner stainless steel stove with a griddle and warming drawer. All the water for the house is triple filtered town water. The ice maker makes lots of crystal clear ice. There is over 18 feet of countertop for food preparation and two side-by-side stainless steel dishwashers for easy cleanup. There are two full baths with extra large showers. One bath has a stacked washer dryer unit for your personal use.

This architect designed house was finished in 2008 using local exotic Costa Rican woods and floor tile. The open-air living and dining area is a wonderful place to relax. It overlooks the large terrace and mosaic tile pool. The pool is one of the largest in the area. A real swimming pool!!

A bilingual caretaker manages the property and can offer whatever service level you require. Our housekeeper is included to assist in your stay. An infra-red security system is provided for your comfort. This is a very special house, minutes from town, up a quiet country road, in the heart of Costa Rica's natural beauty.

Amazing Home and Staff

Similar to what has been said here before, the pictures do not do the property justice. It was serene and offered a great location above the town of Samara. The house manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was his sister who came to clean the home a few times during our stay. We will certainly be back and would love to stay even longer next time!

Pura Vida

Wow! This place is more beautiful then the pictures. Can hear the howler monkeys howling in the morning and night before bed. You have everything you need here, Gerardo is awesome and easy to reach if you have questions, concerns or need to know where to get something. The open air space, pool and living area are so nice. We had an amazing stay in Samara and Casa Limo Dulce. Can\'t wait to come back.

Perfect escape

What a perfect place to stay in Samara! We stayed 7 nights - 4 adults and two children and it was so spacious. Everything was perfectly appointed and the open air living room was gorgeous. Howler monkeys, iguanas, birds - everything right in the backyard! Do not miss out on a massage by Aubrey! One of the best hours of our trip. Rich is super easy to contact and we had the most fantastic relaxing time. (And I got to read one of the books in the library while I was there!) We cooked breakfast every day and dinner a few times too because the kitchen was so well appointed. Just loved every minute. Thank you for sharing this paradise!!

Beautiful Home

We couldn\'t have chosen better than this! The house is magnificent. We stayed for 7 days. There were two adults and 4 young adult/teens. We all had plenty of space and were quite comfortable. The open air dining space was a great place for the kids to hang out, literally. They hung their hammocks and listened to music and played cards in the evenings. The teens also took scuba certification while we were in Samara. Gabriel from Samara Diving was able to come to the house for the pool and theory portion of the course. Our trip to Samara and the surrounding area was a trip of a lifetime and we can\'t wait to go back.

Casa Limon Dulce was perfect!

Everything from communications with Rich, to the house manager, Gerardo, to the evening breezes through the outside living room--- was fabulous! The house is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos. My husband and I were constantly marveling at the thought put into every detail at the house. The bedrooms have AC, so it was cool sleeping. The pool was refreshing. The house was clean. Gerardo lives next to the house, is very friendly, and respected our privacy. The description of the house says the beach is a 10-15 minute walk away-- we feel like that\'s a little optimistic. ;) It\'s probably more like a 20 minute walk, at the least, and it\'s a hot one, especially on the way back, up the hills. Granted, we were there in April, when the temperatures were in the 90s. So, unless you\'re okay with getting really hot, I\'d say plan on driving to the beach. The beaches were beautiful, Samara and Carrillo, and everyone we met was very nice. We hope to return to Casa Limon Dulce again! Thank you, Rich and Gerardo!
