Description

Come and enjoy experiencing nature first hand while being surrounded by endless acres of wilderness. The cabin is in a hemlock forest with a creek flowing all around and small waterfalls and fun walking trails. With all of the mountains, trees, fields, streams, deer, turkeys, and boundless views of nature, you will feel like you are staying at a State Park. Enjoy a campfire while you pick a stone seat so large you can either sit or lie down.
 
As you enter Cabin #1 you can still enjoy the wilderness, turkeys, deer, raccoons, opossums, and yes occasionally, bears from the 12 large windows that fill the whole one side of the cabin! At night time, it is so exciting to watch the wildlife in their natural habitat, as well, since motion lights come on for your enjoyment!
 
Sit down in the sunk in living room and enjoy the beauty of the cabin from either the queen size sofa or the love chair. Watch TV on a flat screen TV, with tons of channels and HBO for free, or play a DVD Movies, Play Station 2 or sing to karaoke! Enjoy a warm fire in the in the real fireplace with firewood provided or turn on the air conditioners to cool off.
 
Walk into a fully equipped kitchen that has a full-size refrigerator, range top stove oven, microwave, toaster oven, cooking grill, coffee pot with Maxwell house coffee provided, cabinets stocked with beautiful dishes in carefully hand crafted cabinets. The kitchen bar top is hand built with real Cherry wood and is lined with fieldstone all in the front with lighting. Daily and bar glasses are provided. Have a seat at the bar on stools made out of real trees. So sit, chat, drink, eat, and be merry!
 
Next to the kitchen is a full bathroom with a bath tub/shower and flat screen TV! The bathroom is decorated with bear bathroom carpets and bear scenes.
 
Upstairs is a large bedroom that has 1 King size bed and 1 full, with hand quilted country bed comforters and shams with nature display scenes. Lie in bed while watching TV on a Flat screen TV with tons of channels and HBO. Step outside on to the 2nd story balcony to watch the rolling stream, watch nature, animals, or a cup of coffee surrounding you with beautiful views of the Hemlock forest. Continue down the deck steps to relax in a huge Jacuzzi while enjoying rumbling warm water and massages from the many jets in this 6 person Jacuzzi with 5 sit downs and one lay down, all while you are a succumbed by nature all around you. You just have to experience this! Wireless High Speed Internet is provided

Deposit to secure the cabin, unless you are in the time frame of paying in full. Contract, cancellation and other paper work must be signed before arrival.

wonderful time at cabin 1


Hi Eileen and Ed, We just wanted to let you both know that we had a very relaxing and wonderful time at cabin 1. We enjoyed talking to Ed and Jim wants to thank Ed for letting him hunt on your property. I saw a really nice Gobbler by the cabin on Thursday morning with 2 really big hens he was Gobbling away!! We just love watching all the deer, squirrels, turkey, ducks, and the raccoon. It\'s so peaceful. As long as we can and as long as cabin 1 is available to rent we will definitely be back every year Thank You Both So much!!

beautiful Cabin


What a beautiful cabin. Very rustic-very woodsey and secluded -quite-yet very clean and well equipped. The King bed was very comfortable. We appreciate the notebook with tips for the cabin and hot tub and the area maps. We hung up our hummingbird feeder in the tree near the pond. We throughly enjoyed watching all the birds at all the feeders that you hung as well. We don\'t get to see any of this nature in the city. Everything was great. Thanks so much!

Great time


Great time, loved the hot tub, it snowed while we were here which was pretty! Saw squirrels, birds, and deer. We loved looking around the cabin and reading about all the different items that have been found. Outside was so beautiful, loved the creek and little pond. Very clean inside! We can’t wait to come back! Thanks for a great time! Snow tubing at Blue Mountain was so fun and close!

We wanted to thank you and let you know that we had a wonderful time at the cabin this week. The fall foliage was perfect and we enjoyed watching the deer stroll through the property. It was very relaxing and a much needed get away. We enjoyed the charcoal grill so much that we bought one for ourselves when we got home (even though we have a gas grill). It really makes a difference in the flavor. We hope you will let us rent again in the future. Thanks again

This was the cleanest cabin 1


This was the cleanest cabin that we have ever stayed in and the coolest too! We enjoyed soaking in the hot-tub while listening to the creek flow by and watching the turkeys run all around. We have lots of pictures of the deer by the feeder and some pictures of us even feeding them. They are so tame they are like Cabin #1\'s pets! Can you say Cool!!!!
