Description

Geronimo's is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath condominium in a small complex of 16 two-bedroom units nestled along the shore of the High Falls Flowage section of the Peshtigo River in the Crivitz Recreation Area of Marinette County, Wisconsin. Long known for its abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, this complex offers the nicest accommodations in the area.
 
There is a king bed in the master bedroom (with sliding doors onto a balcony). The second bedroom offers two twin beds.
 
The living room, with its soaring cathedral ceiling and open floor plan, includes a fully equipped galley kitchen and offers an unobstructed view of the water.  Comfortable seating, including a queen size sleeper sofa, and amenities like central air conditioning and a 40” flat screen TV, make this the perfect retreat after a day on the water. In winter, the electric fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere after a day of snowmobiling, cross country skiing, sledding or ice fishing.
 
The balcony offers seating and a full-size George Foreman electric grill. At ground level on the waterfront, there are plenty of picnic tables and bonfire cauldrons – and you are just steps away from the water and complimentary boat slips.
 
The furnishings, linens and towels are plush and the kitchens are fully equipped with cookware, dishware, glasses - of the same quality you'd have in your own home. We provide paper towels, dishwashing soap, dishwasher soap, surface cleansers, hand soap, toilet paper, hair dryers, coffee filters . . . you need only bring personal toiletry items, food and beverage. We take great pride in Peshtigo River Rentals. You will not be disappointed.
 
This section of the High Falls Flowage flows east and south, first through a quiet and pretty no-wake zone, and then opening up in the Twin Bridge Area to appear quite lake-like. It narrows again, passing under Twin Bridge, and heading on for miles, before approaching the Johnson Falls area.
 
Across the river and just upstream is Dockside Bar & Grill. They enjoy a steady flow of customers coming in for lunch and refreshments. Further upstream, you'll pass some waterfront homes and eventually come to the base of the Caldron Falls Dam. While pontoons can go upstream a ways, it eventually gets quite shallow, and only canoes or kayaks can navigate it.

Per Wisconsin state law:

Smoking is NOT permitted in the condos, although you may smoke on the patio or balcony.

The maximum occupancy per unit is 6.

 

Per the Homeowners Association which governs the property:

Only resident owners may have pets on property.

Each unit comes with one assigned parking space. Additional parking for vehicles and boat/ATV trailers is available 35 yards away, on site, at no additional charge.
