The Neighborhood
Because it is truly a magical town! We went to Cabo on vacation. Cabo does not have any surfing (in the winter) or swimmable beaches we decided to hop in our Jeep and drive up the pacific coast of the Baja. The views were breathtaking. Once we turned down the dirt road and saw the property we looked at each other and said “Can we move here?” and two years later we did! We decided to purchase the same villa we stayed in. The area fit our lifestyle. We are casual athletic people with then a one year old that enjoys relaxation, good food, locally owned businesses, and adventure. Cabo is great for the day but has become hurried, so this laid back slow pace its pure bliss. There are so many things to do and see there. Because we were able to take a sabbatical and spend a full year there we discovered all the hidden spots, private beaches with wild horses and all the best food. The land has a spiritual and peaceful feeling. The mornings are one of our favorite times. Wakening up, sitting on the terrace sipping my steaming hot locally roasted Baja Beans coffee is our happy place. An icy cold beer while watching the surreal sunsets and the beach is like no other. While the waves are known as some of the best in the Cabo area for surf, the beach is one of the safest. Our baby loved playing in the low rolling waves all day without fear of a rough under toe. It's a peaceful beach that stretches for miles with just a few homes and small developments peppered in. There are few vendors and lots of good people just enjoying some some good r & r with friends and family. You really have to experience it yourself to know how truly special this area is. It makes us happy to know that our home will be a place where good friends and families make their own lifetime memories.
