Description

This waterfront home is in the heart of Vero Beach, and will take you back in time to experience the charm of early Florida (1955). Back yard deep water dock will handle a yacht 45-50', and a smaller boat up to 30' in the other slip.

The spacious living room with vaulted ceiling offers a warm welcome as you enter the front door. The smaller family room with 50" flat screen TV has leather sofa and love seat. The kitchen is not large, but more than adequate to prepare gourmet meal. There is a large antique dining table for six, and a breakfast room table for four.

There are four bedrooms and three full baths; owner is using the smallest room as an office. The large new master suite is separated from the other three bedrooms. (If you occupy the original master suite, and guest bedroom only, you will receive a discounted rate.) The large covered back porch overlooks the deep water dock slips and canal to the ICW to reach the ocean either north or south about 10 miles either direction. The scenery is superb to either inlet.

Why Kids Love It
The beaches are unspoiled by development, and totally kid friendly! Fountain Park overlooking the Indian River Lagoon is within walking distance, about 1 mile.

Area Information
Vero Beach is a paradise community that is "heaven on earth" to those fortunate enough to visit, or live here full time. It is really the treasure of Florida's treasure coast, so named after the treasure fleet of 1715 which scattered gold, silver and jewels along the coast during a hurricane; the skippers missed the weather forecast!

If you visit, it is almost given that you will want to return, or relocate permanently? It has also been called Velcro Beach by some who are now permanent residents. So much to see and do, so many golf courses, so many great restaurants, so much natural beauty!

The Indian River Lagoon, and inter-coastal waterway, is the most spectacular inland estuary in the entire world. This home is the 5th house west of that remarkable body of water. Manatees, bottle nosed dolphin, game fish and many bird species share our paradise!

Attractions Within Walking Distance
Great restaurants, grocery stores, banks and lots of shopping is within easy walking distance.

Favorite Places To Eat
Ocean Grille is oceanfront, and a historic 5 * superb restaurant. The atmosphere is hard to beat and the food and drinks will not disappoint.

Inside Scoop
Tracking Station Beach Park is less crowded and just slightly to the north on A!A.

I praise God every day because I live and reside in "heaven on earth", or Vero Beach! Let us share some of our paradise with you; it is virtually guaranteed you too will fall in love with this special community! I moved here from up north, in 1990; shortly afterward a national magazine listed Vero Beach in the top 10 best places to live nationwide! Please don't tell to many...The central, super convenient location is hard to beat; and occasionally we have bottle nosed dolphins right off the dock. They are ALWAYS just a short distance away in the Indian River Lagoon, which is the most spectacular inland estuary in the world.
