We represent properties in the captivating Islands of the Upper Keys - Key Largo, Plantation, Tavernier, Islamorada. They are located a little over an hours' drive south, southwest of Miami, Florida. The Keys are known for their casual lifestyle, crystal clear waters, spectacular snorkeling and diving, and as the fishing capital of the world.
This was our first year at My Paradise. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. The house is very comfortable, especially for a group. It is extremely well equipped. The deck is the best part. We spent most of our time there and the views are the best. The kitchen is well laid out and stocked. We ate in most every evening. Last but not least, everyone we dealt with was great to work with and everything went well. Can\'t wait to come back next year.
The house is a dream! It is located in a quiet dead-end road and right on the sandy beach. Perfect for a family vacation. The house is fully equipped, from the kitchen to beachtowels, beach toys, kayaks, lounge chairs on the the deck and on the beach, BBQ,etc. NOTHING was missing! There is a TV in every room and a soundsystem with speakers on the deck as well. We did not use the dock, which is located on a canal, but there is also a little sitting area, nice to watch sunsets. The beach is very nice and the ocean is perfect.Warm and shallow water perfect for kids or us adults to just sit in the water and relax. The location of the house is great for trips up or down the Keys, nice restaurants are all around within a short drive. Andi and her team were always very helpful and friendly and made this trip very pleasant from the day of booking until leaving. We will definitely come back!
Our annual Keys vacation has been anchored in \"My Paradise\" for a number of years and we intend to keep coming back. It\'s the perfect setting, comfortable house, great deck and a dock across the street on the canal with direct access to the ocean. The owners have chosen to leave their personal treasures in the home. They have spared nothing in amenities. The broad sandy beach is the best in the Keys. It is a home not a house and it is on a private dead end street.
My wife and I spend a month at My Paradise and, as an architect, there are certain aspects that bear mention. First, if the weather is mild, you can open the wall of folding glass doors and unite the main interior room (dining, den and kitchen) with the oversize teak deck. The deck itself is a marvel. A covered sitting area gets you out of the sun, with six teak sun loungers for warming up and working on your tan. The house is in a turtle nesting area, but is equipped with special yellow lights that give the beach a soft glow at night. The deck itself is fitted with a string of mini lights that give it a romantic glow at night. The entire interior is walled with pickled wood planking with clerestory windows that are complemented by recessed indirect lighting if you experiment with the myriad assortment of light controls. While the just-renovated kitchen can handle a group making meals, the second and third bedrooms, along with the second bath, make a nice mini-suite (the bedroom with the big bed has a private door to the bath, the real gem of the house is the master bedroom. The master suite has a bedroom with three walls of huge windows looking out onto the ocean. If you open the windows, you can fall asleep with the lapping of the waves as your lullaby. The entire house is fitted with motorized hurricane shutters for protection during storms. The master bath is huge and has an amazing walk-in shower that is roomy for two. The master closet, off the bathroom, is cedar lined and easily holds more than enough clothes for a month. The master suite has its own Hvac system, so you can cool it down on a balmy night for snuggling under the covers. The home has four TVs, a stereo system with speakers on the deck, Wi-Fi, cable and phone. There are swim fins, snorkels and masks for exploring the beach waters. My son and I came across a pair of manta rays that swam off as we watched in wonder. The beach is excellent for fishing, the boat dock is handy. Bring kayaks for fun.
Just completed our second stay at My Paradise and once again everything was wonderful. Nicely laid out home on beautiful beach with great sunsets. All of the Keys Holiday rental staff are great and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Have already booked for next year.
As a family - and GROWING - We have vacationed in the Keys for many years. We have stayed on the same street and in the same one or two houses and are booked for next year. Our home is in Miami and we know the Keys well. We have found no comparable private (dead end) street and beach for a safe family vacation. For boating, across the street is your private dock with direct ocean access. Enjoy!
An amazing beach house on one of the only sandy beaches in the Florida keys, and our new favorite Florida vacation spot! Pet friendly, sun sand & surf at your doorstep, a seaside deck that goes on for days. This home is 5 minutes away from great dining, water sports, fishing and touristy-type entertainment (have you fed the tarpon at Robbies? No? Feed the tarpon at Robbies!), but it feels like it's miles from civilization. We've only been home 10 days and we're already itching for our next visit, this is going to be a long year!!
