This rustic retreat is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the scenery of this beautiful mountain lake. Whether you enjoy fishing, canoeing, boating, hiking, or just relaxing on the rooftop deck, come experience our special getaway.
 
The space
4BR 3BA on a gently sloping lot in a quiet area of the lake know as "The Narrows" with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Rooftop boathouse deck offers a relaxing outdoor space. Stargazers will be amazed by the view in the evenings.
 
Guest access
Entire home, boathouse rooftop deck, dock, and canoe. Charcoal grill on back deck. Power boats are not included but there is space to dock your own boat.
 
Interaction with guests
This is our vacation home and we are not in the immediate vicinity but are available by phone should any need arise.
 
Other things to note
A boat ramp is conveniently located a quarter-mile from the house at the Rabun Beach Recreation area.

Cancel up to 5 days before check in and get a full refund (minus service fees). Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded. Service fees are refunded when cancellation happens before check in and within 48 hours of booking.

A perfect, casual lake retreat with everything you need for a relaxing weekend at the lake with a family. The no wake zone area of the lake is huge with little kids!

Great stay


The house was very nice and well equipped. Great to be on the lake. We enjoyed hikes on two days and whitewater rafting a third. Good utensils in terms of plates, glasses, silverware, etc. in the kitchen. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, you may want to bring some utensils that you like to make the process easier, but everything you really need is there. Nice to have access to the canoe and rafts for enjoying the water. Shopping was good at Ingles, in Clayton, about 30 minutes. away. Good access to TV for those who want it. Several nice spots throughout the house to have good conversation with others in the house without needing to include all. A nice dining room table for good times over meals as we did during our family reunion. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Perfect Place


This is the perfect place for anyone who wants a quiet vacation spot. The views are gorgeous, it is a great place for children as it is located in the \"no wake\" area of the lake. The house is extremely well laid out to accommodate either families or several couples vacationing together ... plenty of room to be together, but also space to separate if desired. We particularly enjoyed the area on top of the boathouse, and spent a lot of time there. Ben could not have been any nicer or more responsive! If you are considering this location, I can assure you, you won\'t be sorry!

Excellent Stay


My family and I spent a week at Benion\'s lake Rabun\'s house and loved it. Perfect location in a no-wake zone. House is well equipped. The garage has enough space to park a car, our four bicycles and to store all lake gears. We enjoyed the boat house\'s roof deck. Benion\'s communication was excellent before and during the stay. Many thanks again to Benion and Robin for letting us stay at your place!

Beautiful lake


We rented this house with a group of four couples for a New Year\'s getaway. The house was exactly as described and was perfect for a quiet weekend away. Benion was a great host, was easy to communicate with and answered all questions we had before and during our stay. He even helped us find a local automotive service when we couldn\'t get our car to start upon our departure. We enjoyed cooking, relaxing on the deck and exploring the area. We hope we can return in the spring or summer. Great getaway for families or groups looking for a fun and peaceful time on a beautiful lake!
