Swimming pool with huge poolside palapa and additional lounge chairs. Limited beer, wine and cocktail available for purchase. Loft contains small kitchenette with all the necessities for cooking: range top, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, bottled water dispenser, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, etc. Living area with pull out queen sofa bed, dining table and flat screen TV. Master bedroom has king size bed, reading lounge and flat screen TV. Beach towels and bath towels and accessories are provided. Extra bedroom with twin beds and private bath available on the ground level for an additional $45/night. Great for honeymooners, romantic getaways, quality time with your family, birders, watching butterflies, whales, dolphins, sea turtles, and awesome sunsets, etc..
Lazaro Cárdenas has the second largest seaport on the Pacific Coast with Los Angeles having the first.

Use Autopista #37 toward Lazaro Cárdenas. After you pass under the Boca de Lena overpass, around meter marker 287, prepare to make a "U" turn through a locked guard rail. Open the rail and pass through stopping to close the guard rail behind you. Keep right on the dirt road through a second open railing staying right until you reach a manned guard station where you will be directed straight down the hill and to the left whhereupon you will arrive at The Loft on the Pacific.

Just returned from our 52 day stay at The Loft. The property is exactly as described. The owner and her caretaker were wonderful to deal with. The apartment is spacious with a large bedroom (the king size bed is very comfortable), large living area and a small kitchen that works well. There is a large patio area about the same size as the overall apartment with a gorgeous view of the ocean and area.There is a BBQ on the deck and one on the lower area. We enjoyed many sunsets and meals from our little oasis. There is a lower patio area that is available to guests with a nice sized pool and multiple areas for sitting and enjoying sun or shade. The area is somewhat secluded so if you are looking for crowds and nightlife this may not be the place for you. Lazaro Cardenas is about a 20 min drive away and there is plenty to do there but a car would be recommended. The beach area is a couple minute walk from the apartment and consists of sandy and rocky areas. If you like walks you can walk for quite a while in both directions on the beach. There are also good areas for playing in the waves. You need to be somewhat prepared as there is no shopping in the immediate area but the owner will prepare whatever you may like for an additional charge. We did not take advantage of this as we like to cook but the smells coming from her kitchen of meals she was preparing for guests at other properties was delicious. Overall impression of this property was excellent. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful stay
