We took a 2+ week trek across Alaska and picked Katlian Suites for our lodging in Sitka. I had talked to Dan several times upon arrival and he was so helpful and accommodating. He is full of information and tips about the area. We arrived and were SO happy with the condo. It was fresh and clean--looks brand new--loved the decor and the balcony was awesome. As soon as we got there we fixed a beverage, put a CD in his stereo (started with some Patsy Cline) and sat on the balcony just relaxing and enjoying the weather and the harbor. It was fun watching the planes land at the airport. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you might need. Full laundry facilities. All the towels and linens were amazing quality and super soft. Beds were very comfortable with super soft sheets. The location was perfect for us since we didn\'t have a car. It was away enough to be quiet but close enough to walk everywhere in town. He also leaves some information sheets that are very helpful. Safety tips, info and contacts for restaurants, stores, transportation, things to do.... When I talk about our amazing trip, I spend most of my time raving about Sitka and especially Katlian Suites. I never got to meet Gretchen but visited with Dan many times and he bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. Definitely went above and beyond for us. I hope to return to this charming town and would not stay anywhere else but Katlian Suites. I would schedule my trip around its availability--it\'s THAT good! Stay here--you won\'t be sorry! ????????
