The grounds are a mixture of formal gardens, orchards, woodland, including a beautiful walk on a wooded island with sculpted natural flower beds. The grounds abound with natural wildlife including kingfishers, nuthatches, tree creepers, golden oriels and many others. Dining can be taken inside or outside on the Terrace which is under cover but overlooks the croquet lawn and boule pitch. There is a large barbecue on the terrace. The pool area includes a badminton court, table tennis & 10ft chess board and the heated swimming pool kept at a minimum 27.5ºc. Also available are 6 bikes with safety helmets. The river, 30m from the Moulin, make it unsuitable for unattended adventurous toddlers otherwise there is plenty for all ages including 2 ground floor bedrooms for wheelchair access.
