Our Lincoln Log oceanfront Maine vacation rental home, located in Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island Maine, sits along the shore of Frenchman's Bay and comfortably sleeps up to eight people. The floor plan of the vacation rental takes full advantage of the beautiful ocean view. Large sliding glass doors facing the water open onto a deck that runs the entire front of the house. We offer the standard amenities that we desire when we vacation including: fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, television and VCR. Television service is provided by DIRECTV satellite.

The second floor of this Maine oceanfront rental vacation home includes a master bedroom/bathroom suite and sleeping loft. The master suite includes a king sized bed. The sleeping loft, which overlooks the living room, includes twin beds.

The first floor includes: a fully appointed kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, cooking utensils and dishes; dining area furnished with a table large enough to seat six to eight people; living room with TV and VCR - TV service provided by DIRECTV; bedroom with queen sized bed and a full bathroom. A wood deck along the entire
shore-facing side of the house equipped with gas barbeque grill, outdoor furniture and table. A laundry area, including a washer and dryer, is located in the basement.

The log vacation rental home provides an intimacy with the water and wildlife in Frenchman's Bay. Our guests are often treated to the sight of seals sunning themselves on the rocks just outside the home. They often see eagles hunting for meals in the bay and may catch the sight of an eagle feeding in front of the property. Occasionally a group of kayakers will pass in front of the property heading for Bar Harbor. Finally, there are always those spectacular summer sunsets.
