On Top of the World is confidentially nestled in the tropical hillside outside of Siena, Tuscany. This new and spacious farmhouse boasts a breathtaking beautiful view of the north coast and Blue Mountains.

Antico Borgo Poggiarello features nine air conditioned bedrooms with full sized beds. Farmhouse can accommodate thirty people easily.

It has eco friendly shower plumbed to a contemporary fitted kitchen complete with microwave oven for quick hot meals, washing machine keeping your garments clean, gas cooker to prepare local ingredients and fridge freezer probably to fill with the awesome selection of chilled tropical juices and fresh seafood from the markets.

All inclusive to the property is a cool air conditioned open plan style to a dining and living area fully equipped with TV and Internet connectivity for your computer without the charges, queues, security and time limit issues affiliated with public access points like Internet cafes and hotel lounges where visitors could be looking and waiting over your shoulder.

Antico Borgo Poggaiarello vacation rental rates $100 per night. Rates are subject to change without notice.

The farmhouse is yours exclusively for the duration of your stay.

The property is in the Chianti area and family owned.There is a restaurant where we serve the best dishes of Italian and Tuscan cuisine.Pool and Roman bath with hot water.Air conditioning in all 14 apartments and Restaurant.

Terms & Conditions

  • Breakfast: 9 Euro per person
  • Dinner: 31 Euro per person
  • Half board: 37 Euro per person
  • Roman bath: 30 Euro per hour

Cancellation policy:

  • The 30 percent of the total amount of the stay will be charged on the day of booking and is not refundable.    
  • If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 30 percent of all nights will be charged.
  • If cancelled up to 11 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
  • If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged.
  • If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Fall in love with Poggiarello


We have quite literally fallen in love with Poggiarello, we have spent weeks there at a time while exploring Italy... We cant say enough about the entire family of Nino the owner... you come here for an authentic Tuscan experience... its not a fancy resort, so dont expect that... here you get amazing home made food, beautiful ambience, a very comfortable apartment and the best cappuccino Ive ever had! And its so centrally located once you get off the rural road which has been paved! Cant recommend it enough! Vittoria- California

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you what a wonderful time we had staying with you. It really was the best part of our entire trip. You made us feel so at home and comfortable. I can still close my eyes and see the rolling hills and San Gimignano in the distance. The dinners were just super. Please thank the chef for us. Thank you again for making our stay so wonderful.
