The villa is placed in the heart of Pigi village, only meters from the hamlet square. Pigi is a traditional working village that has improved very little over the years. Although close to the tourist areas it has kept its characters and offers all those who visit it and possibility to experience the true Cretan lifestyle.
Villa Pigi has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dwelling room and kitchen with dining area. The villa has capacity for up to ten people.
Entry through the front door delivers you into the living room which has been amazingly furnished and has a sofa that folds down to provide extra sleeping accommodation. The kitchen/dining area is at the opposing end of the room and a stairway takes you up to the first floor. Here you find the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, fitted armoires and a dressing table.
Externally there is a very nice court yard of mature plants and trees -a perfect place to sit and relax during the long, warm summer evenings. Also situated in the courtyard for your entertainment is a Jacuzzi/hot tub.
Internally the house has been set up to a high standard and contains such attributes as a completely fitted kitchen and for your amusement a home cinema system and internet. The overall effect is of the past mixing with the present, giving you the best of both worlds.
There are little markets, a pharmacy, grocer, bakers and taverns who offer traditional Cretan food. The village has easy access to both the local beaches and the highway, making traveling to either of Crete’s airports, and in generally discovering the island, very easy indeed.
