Just a pleasant 1 hour drive from Rockhampton and an easy half hour from Yeppoon, driving through the Byfield State Forest and Byfield National Parks, you will arrive at our "Wompoo cottage" in Byfield Central Queensland. We offer the privacy of a free standing cottage,in an intimate setting, with nothing but bushland surrounding you. Our 2 Bedroom rental cottage is designed with your comfort in mind, to ensure your holiday is memorable and above all, enjoyable and relaxing. We offer 2 queen size rooms or a twin room. Linen is included in our tariff and continental breakfast is also available.
There is a fully functional kitchen including fridge, microwave etc. if you wish to work and cook for yourself.
Ceiling fans are in every room and of course, TV and DVD player. Byfield has many attractions to offer, while being only a short distance from all of the Capricorn Coast attractions and right in the hub of Central Queenslands Beef Capital, Rockhampton. There are bush walks in the Byfield National parks, 4 wheel driving to local beaches, local pottery and Byfield Store and Bush Cafe, where basic provisions, fuel and takeaway food is available.
