Sleeps: 4We are "young oldies" with wide interests. We came to this property many years ago. 50/50 sharemilkers manage our two farm properties, milking a total of 420 cows. We also grow citrus fruit and breed a small flock of black and coloured sheep. Jim has been a member of Whakatane Lions Club for over 40 years and is also a keen bowler. Kathleen's interests are in genealogy, organic gardening and crafts. Travel is a particular interest. One of our sons lives in England and we have an AFS son who lives in Ohio, USA.
We are long time hosts.(28 years) Lived in this district all our lives. Dairy farms with small flock of coloured sheep. Small citrus orchard. Bakery and cafe on the property. Handy to town, beaches, hot springs and boat or helicoter trips arranged to visit White Island, an active sea volcano. Be as active as you like or find peace and quiet here. Swimming, fishing or bird watching,play golf or relax in our extensive library The choice is yours.. A warm welcome awaits.
