This newly renovated house sits on 3/4 of an acre in Shelter Harbor, a private community on Quonnie Pond.
The "Tiki Hut" has an open floor plan which blends the stone fireplace and Oak hardwoods with the kitchen area, perfect for open-air entertaining. A stereo system is provided with CD player and speakers. The TV has a DVD player for watching movies. Therefore you can watch or listen to whatever suits your evening mood. The furniture is tasteful and comfortable while the furnishings are almost all new. Large wrap-around deck for serenity and/or entertainment looking down to a wooded property. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, clean and comfortable.
Other Amenities: Community, private beach rights to mile-long barrier beach. Two designated swimming areas in the "pond" - see pictures section for an overview; lifeguards on duty during the summer months.
Private nature trails, tennis courts, quiet & friendly community for walking, jogging, and biking, mooring on Quonnie Pond with deep water access to the Ocean - about 11 miles to Block Island, great fishing for Fluke, Stripers, and Bluefish, the pond is also great for kayaking, water skiing, and wake boarding.
July & August - $2500/week, call for a discounted monthly rate. All other months $800-$1,500 a week
P.S. We are always interested in a Winter Rental - Sept or Oct through the end of May or June.
If you fish, do not miss late September & October, I have a mooring available as well at no cost!
